124 for pads and rotors? that's a bit too cheap to me, not sure how the long term quality will be.
I was researching for a while and rfd topics on brakes recommended max brakes and on amazon the reviews are also good. So I was all in. I actually work for a bodyshop now and a lot of them are amazed. One guy bought a set for his 09 accord and couldnt be happier. It was 150$ for his set. I'm not working for them nor do I have any affiliation. It's a good reasonably priced product.

Why not keep the shop open but let one of his other employees manage it on his days off?

Have you ever spent time in the shop? He's constantly dealing with walk-ins as well as people calling in looking for pricing. I doubt any of his staff have the authority to quote pricing and/or schedule work.

I'm sure he'll lose some business by remaining closed on week-ends, but I hope it works out for him.

If I already bought my brake pads and rotors, how much does Ivan charge for replacing both for all four of them? It's for an 11 Accord.

What about the cost for brake fluid bleeding and replacing with quality DOT4? I have extended warranty from Honda until the end of December 2018 so just trying to be wary but no way am I going to the Honda dealership when Ivan can provide equal if not better service, at a more reasonable price.

Edit: So it's $450 for labor?

Max brakes black coated cross drilled rotors and ceramic pads were 124$ on amazon. All 4. They perform amazing on my 07 accord. I couldn't be more happier. 600-150 (124+tax) is 450. I'm not being an ******* here and I'm not saying he does a bad job or anything like that but 450 for labor is a bit steep.

Edit 2:

iGarage is Ivan's handle right? I don't want to send off a message to someone selling iPhones.

A few posts above. I can't have Ivan do it. I just found out he no longer works on Saturdays. Got confused with the FB posts above for another shop that does oil change.

As an aside, shops that work only weekdays tend to do better than those who do 6-7 days a week. Go figure.

Omg guys he quoted me 600 for aftermarket replacement and 900 for oem. If I buy high end quality aftermarket brakes for 150 that means he charges me 450 for hands! It's math! I never said he would take that amount for "hands" it's just my calculation and even the 600 is ridiculous by itself.
