Another mass shooting in US

https://www.cnn.com/2018/02/14/us/flori ... index.html

Unreal.. it's like one every month or so... not sure it's even 'SHOCKING' anymore... seems to happen so damn often. Same blah blah blah... and nothing will get done. Insane.

RIP victims.

This sort of thing is just part and parcel of living in a big country
Could HAVE, not could OF. What does 'could of' even mean?

No, it happens because the society there has easy access to firearms. They don't need to go underground to get a gun like in most countries including Canada.

ABC15: Mass shootings in the U.S.: When, where they have occurred in 2018

This article includes an interactive map. A tl:dr image here. Interesting, isn't it?

Notice that there's a casualties lower bound to qualify as a 'mass shooting.'

Alleged shooter boasted on the Internet about his "feats" (including animal cruelty). He was suspected dangerous and reported to the FBI after boasting in youtube. Here there are some mugshots of this fella [src].

I recall that as at the end of January, it was reported there were 12 school shootings. If you consider just the days that school was in session, we are talking a school shooting every other day - just sad. And remember, this is only considering shootings that happened at a school.

In my mind, downplaying shootings due to very few injured/no one killed is very short-sighted. We just need to consider the potential for harm whenever a gun is in a school, irrespective of what harm was actually done.

Well according to BBC, there have been 291 shootings since 2013, which they have calculated as one per week.
So yes, school shootings really is just part and parcel of living in the US.

And yet they continue to do nothing. Oh well. Let them take themselves out.
