Just received an email from Anova announcing the buyout by Electrolux.

Not the cheapest, but still reasonable if you're looking for a last minute Valentine's Day gift for the mrs (or mr).

What's the cheapest price it's been at?

Trust me, it's worth paying the extra ~$40, for the amazing steak experience you are going to have between now and whenever the thing goes back down to $100, if ever. :)

Pull the trigger!

Definitely agree, the 100$ price was more of a pricing error and will most likely never happen again.

And if I was to make a suggestion, I'd just go with the cheapest model (Bluetooth). I've been using this thing a lot, and don't even bother using the BT, nor would I use the WiFi. Just turn it on, set the temp and you are good to go. I don't even use the timer on the thing, because it is a pain to set manually, I just use my phone, or a kitchen timer. Use the money saved to buy a decent cast iron, or carbon steel pan.

I use this one... on sale again right now.

100$ was a price error, this is the lowest it's going to get anytime soon.

You truly get amazing steaks out of this thing.

Any health risks to cooking in plastic, or do you guys use something that doesn't leech into the food?

I have the BT version and think this thing is amazing. The chicken this thing makes is amazing and helps with the diet.

I have a BT version but I am looking to trade/sell for a Wifi version.

I wouldn't say so. Grab some accessories with the $57.
