Any Dolphin browser users?

I've used Dolphin on my HTC Incredible S for months and loved it. I've recently updated my phone with the stock HTC ICS 4.04 update and now Dolphin runs kind of sluggish and flash doesn't work at all. Flash now only works on some browsers, and the flash 'on demand' option only works on the stock HTC browser. I decided to give Dolphin Browser beta (v1.1.1) a try, and not only does flash and the 'on demand' option work, it also seems to run a lot faster than any other browser I've tried. My question is, will the next Dolphin update (v9.03?) be based on this beta release?

Most likely yes. Flash is no longer being supported by Adobe so don't count on it to work perfectly. Try downloading Dolphin Rocket add-on which should make dolphin run much faster.

Thanks.

Ya I noticed it's not on the Google play store anymore. I downloaded it from the adobe site. Flash works fine for the most part (on Dolphin beta). Only videos from tsn.ca are troublesome (really choppy).

When I got my first Android I tried a bunch of browsers but settled on Dolphin. Tabs and lots of plugins made the decision easy. I want to try out the new stock browser (Chrome) at some point but I'm still on ICS.

No, you're not entitled to your own opinion, you're only entitled to what you can argue for.
Otherwise, don't start.

to get around it i installed dolphin beta and installed a previous version of flash.
deleted a com file in the system directory and presto. flash is back.

you can get flash from here

So 9.03 was released and flash works now, but On demand or click to play still doesn't work... it's either on or off. Again, it does work on the beta version, though.

I contacted Dolphin and they said that if you want the same performance of Dolphin beta in the regular Dolphin browser, you have to download the Dolphin jetpack app. If it significantly speeds up the browser, why would they have it as a separate app? Looks like I'll be sticking with the beta version.

I use the latest Beta on my Note 2. Works great in every aspect. Flash and all.

I really wish Chrome supported Flash though.
