Any suggestions to replace a broken Galaxy S6?

Hello,

My wife dropped her phone and it won't start again. I tried unsuccesfully everything I found over the internet. I was thinking to get it to repair, but at the same time, if it's a better way to get a new one or a equivalent for a good price, I would take that.

For now, she is with Koodo on BYOD plan at 49$. Any suggestions?

Thank you.

Are you sure it's not turning on? Maybe it's the LCD that's damaged. Does it ring when you call it or register a flashing LED when you charge it? Or, do you mean the screen is lighting up but it's bootlooping or something?

Anyway, the upgrade path from an S6 would be S7 or S8.

It does only flashing faintly the blue led. It does not show that is charging and nothing happens when I start it. I assumed that it is the LCD and the fees for that is around 220$+tx. As well, I spotted a used one on Kijiji at 300$. The issue is that my wife wants exactly a gold S6.
