Any way to get iPhone 6 with Grandfathered Plan ?

Hey guys, I`m currently with Rogers and I want to get a iPhone 6 really badly. My plan is the 6GB for $60 plus taxes. I was wondering if there was a way to get the phone without changing my plan. I`m willing to switch to another service provider but I want 6GB data and the plan to be under $80. Please help

Thank you.

I guess you mean subsidized price.
You can go to Apple Store to buy unlocked if price isn't a concern.

I know I can buy from Apple Store, but I don`t have $850 for a phone ...

Yeah I`m aware, that`s why I avoid going that route.

Best possible route is kijiji or else, apple store. OP even me stock on a $50 plan 6gb cannot do hup in this but in my other line I can hup anytime.

You would have to ask all questions over there as we are not allowed to talk about it here

Definitely not "3 installment payments"
If the loan is paid back within 3 months, no interest is charged. If not, 19.99% per annum interest rate, minimum monthly payment: 3.5% or $25.00. Better to buy with a credit card.

Agreed. Extended warranty and purchase protection at the same rate.

But when all is said and done, with interest, that $850 will be well over $1000. And this is why phones are so expensive. Smart financial decisions go out the window when new tech is concerned and people pay whatever they charge.

It's going to be more than $850.

Serious answer: Cut your expenses and save your money until you can buy the iPhone directly from Apple. You can already afford the $720/yr that you're paying for your phone plan, so just start saving money. This would really be your ideal plan of action to keep your current phone plan.

I'm in same spot - I talked to Rogers and all the older plans are hard coded to 3 years and upgrades are all coded to 2 year plans so no way to do it. They changed the backend in there system June this past year. That's at least what retentions told me, I've been thinking just do that Koodo thing and move on from Rogers.
