thanks for the links to buy online etc but I'd rather still be able to buy them off the shelf. Bugs me they bring out a product then leave you hanging.

I have the melitta single serve. I just buy the coffee pods at that shop near the airport (forgot the name of the shop). Pretty decent coffee and fast. Cafe Roast is a nice decent generice flavour they have. -sg

You can redeem it for 600 airmiles if you're a gold member....so I've been thinking about it

Is this from the same company that makes such great products as the Squdgie Disc and Aerobie Rocket Football?
Sorry for being a smart a_ _.
Actually it is, coincidentally. It was a side project that became quite a success.
If you doubt amazon's reviews, then try cofeegeek.com - reviews written by hardcore coffee drinkers.
I did order the press from birds and beans and got it in 2 days, so I can recommend them. I don't benefit from the sale at all.
If you guys want to spend $60+ on some electric coffee brewer and a lot more money buying the coffee pods (with stale coffee), then go ahead - its your money.

You forgot about the Pro Ring that currently holds the Guiness Record.
