I got 2004 Acura RSX-S. Just hit 313xxx kms and something is rattling in the transmission. Only when the steering wheel is turned to the left but not right.
Probably 2 or 3 grand fix? Need new tires also
Still drives real smooth. Just the rattling is bad.
I owned it for 9 years. Would buy another Honda in a heart beat. Previous owner apparently had turbo charged it and I didn't know. I bought from Honda dealership too.
No Honda rust (Rear wheel well) either?

Oh no...please save that EM1 SiR. :*(

I had a 91 Prelude SR that I had from 280k to 310k. 5spd manual. B21a1 engine burned a lot of oil. I would add a liter a week. Great car though. Well laid out and spacious interior for a little car. Pop up headlights. Great handling. Never see them anymore, I has a sad.

Needed a brake master cyl and clutch master cyl so I had pretty bad luck with the hydraulic systems, but they had probably never been replaced before. Still, one after the other going is kind of scary. Pedals travelling to the floor and not returning = yikes.

I would love to save it, since its my daily driver and gives me great gas consumption compared to my 06 sti.

I have to drive around with spare brake fluid and oil just in case.

and barely a photo of the dash to at least be somewhat credible
My story is somewhere between page 10 and 20.
Pic taken just before Her retirement.
My current one is at ~230K now, so not in The Club yet (however I have pics for 50000, 66666, 100000, 111111, 200000 etc :) )

I'll have a daily in the 300k club again shortly. (Week or two)
My other half's vehicle has been doing most of our longer trips lately. So I've not been racking up mileage as fast. Although I was at 275k in June.

Finally a real one! None of these 100k wannabe's.

I got my car in july2017... so far 1 road trip up north.
A few jaunts out of town, but barely. Toronto to oshawa.
I only put 2000km since getting it... i just live so close to everything. I think i'll get lucky if i put 15,000km a year on this thing. Lol

I only read the very post in this thread. Based on the list what I deduced is that Toyota cars seem to have the most longevity. Would this be a fair assumption?

My uncles's late 90s Corolla hit 1,000,000kms - Toyota bought it from him when he traded it in (for another Corolla!) and displayed it in one of their locations.
It had the original engine/automatic transmission.
