curious to know if you have actually bought the refurb S7 edge, how is it ?
I bought an s7e from wireless canada and the phone was in incredible condition, barely and marks on it. However, the screen scratched really easily, which isn't supposed to happen with gorilla glass 4. So I'm not sure if the screen was replaced, or I was unlucky and found a piece of dirt/sand that scratched it.

I did actually and returned it soon after.

bezels and all over looked nice, not much blemish. it was the screen that was terrible. 2 huge dark gashes on them that almost looked like a crack.

Currently having an iffy situation. Purchased their used Samsung Galaxy S7. But i'm returning it since it was a gift for my mom and she preferred a larger screen. He wants it returned to a post office but i have never shipped things to a po box before. I emailed the person asking if i could receive help on how to ship or what carrier is preferred, and I didn't receive a response in 6 days and all the person said when the person finally responded was "Go to post office"

Eh..

I have bought from them just under 60 days ago. The phone is a LG G4 the was advertised as factory unlocked ,10/10 condition, and works on all major networks except Wind. I am on Koodo and the phone has issues connecting to the network for phone calls. Texting is no problem but when I make a call it just hangs and then drops eventually. This particular phone is an AT&T phone so it will not work on some LTE networks in Canada, Telus being one that can be spotty. Since Koodo works off Telus towers where I live LTE doesn't work and only when it drops to 4G can I make and receive calls. Its bizarre I know so I contacted Toronto Cellular and he gave me other APNs to use with no success.

The phone I received was in great cosmetic condition but it can't make calls so I was going to exercise the 60 day refund or 90 day warranty he had on the ad, but NOPE. They had no problem returning emails until I asked for a different phone and when he did not respond then I asked for a different phone or a refund, no response. I did a return item on ebay and they denied it within minutes. So I am going to paypal now to see what they will do if anything.

After this experience I would not buy anything like this over ebay again. Im not saying that all these companies are scammers, like Toronto Cellular, or that all phones are junk but the entire sales and advertising process that Toronto Cellular has to entice you to buy from them is a out right lie and the worst part about it is that Ebay doesn't care. I was shocked that ebay came back so quickly and denied me, because it is plainly written on the ad what he is selling and his return policy and everything I am doing has been within the time limits he provides in his ad.

There are other comments on RF about this company and I wish that I read them before I bought. Ebay will not let you rate if you put in for a dispute, so he gets away with this one. The other thread on RF all about this company and their ethics. Its too bad because I thought ebay was reputable, I guess not.

Update:

Ebay gave me the reason they denied my claim in that it was outside their 30 money back guaranty. What ever Ebay, just look at his ad and hold his toes to the fire for his actions and marketing. Anyway the Paypal process is working so far because Toronto Cellular is communicating NICELY with me again from ignoring me within ebay, no protection from Pay pal for him so far. Anyway will update.

Update: Paypal says I get my money back if I return the phone within 10 days of their return email to the address PO Box in Toronto they provide and is a CONFIRMED address by Toronto Cellular. Canada Post screws up the shipment back and tells me the PO Box has been closed by the seller for months and they are holding MULTIPLE packages for the seller because he is a nice guy with NO SCANS indicating a hold or that the box is closed. I put in a high level complaint with Canada Post stating Mail Fraud and they send me a letter of apology and say ALL packages will be returned to sender, indicating BOX CLOSED. I called Paypal and told them of the box closed situation and they say to get them the RTS scan (return to sender) and I will have my money. Upon returning my package Canada Posts scanners "malfunction" ( conveniently ) and cannot give me a return scan, so when you track the tracking number to this day it still says processing in Toronto. I send Pay pal the letter Canada Post management sent me indicting the mail fraud and the fake address that the seller is using and gave paypal to return product. It is not good enough and they deny my claim because I did not get that final scan from Canada Post saying RTS or Delivered, that you can see on the internet when using the common track and trace. If I called Canada Post customer service they have the RTS scan in their system but Paypay needs the internet scan.

Now I am working with my credit card company to get the money back.

This has been the worst experience but I not going to let Toronto Cellular get away with this. The Canada Post debacle was the weirdest part of this whole ordeal: no scans, box closed, scanners conveniently down when I need them the most, no final scan to get my money back, holding parcels without scans indicating why because the seller is a nice guy!!?? All these decisions by the Canada post employee are against all their policies, and for good reason! These are firing offences within Canada Post, and I know this 100% because Im a letter Carrier (10 years) with them and I can tell you that if I ever left parcels behind without scanning them for a reason , that is called delay of mail, holding them for some guy with a fake address, that is called mail fraud, major suspension or fired. So for all the people that this happened to in Oct 2017, and apparently their were a lot of boxes at the station waiting for Mr. Nice guy to pick up, call Canada Post and voice your concerns.

update Dec 22 2017:

I think I'm at the end of all of it thank God! The charge back from the credit card company went through fine and it has been almost a month and there has been no Paypal dispute. I looked on my paypal account and it said dispute was closed so I finally got all my money back. It took months and a lot of leg work for $229! Was it worth it?? I spent way more time on this than its worth monetarily, but my hope is that anyone who wants to buy a phone off this POS is aware of what they are getting into. A lot of people would of just given up and that's how he makes money....Off working the system. Maybe he will change his ways and be a more ethical business person in the future, who knows. All I know is that I won you a$$hole (middle finger sticking up right now!)

I just bought an S7 from them and then asked to return it because my wife didn't want the phone. I wrote to them and asked for a return and they responded within a couple of hours. The return was approved and then my wife decided she DID want the phone, so we have activated it and everything seems fine at this point.
Bought the phone off ebay, it came quick and exactly as promised and the response time to my questions were very fast.
At this point I would say that I am very satisfied with the service they have provided.

Bought a Lg G5 from these guys. Absolutely a horrible experience. Arrived quickly but turned out to be a Verizon phone so no LTE on Rogers. When I contacted them about it they said the model number was shown in the Ebay listing. I thought ok, my mistake, like the phone so I can live without LTE. I just rechecked the listing and found the model number is not listed at all. So they lied to me. I noticed in the first week that the main 16Mb camera was taking blurry photos. Thought it was something I had wrong in the settings. Didn't have time to read through the manual. Came back from Holidays taking photos with the wide angle camera only. During the Holiday I dropped the phone about 6 inches onto a table. there were no marks on the phone from the drop. After reading the manual and doing some research, I found that there was a fault in the focus mechanism for the main camera. Seems lots of people have had this problem, only fix is to replace the camera module. I contacted the seller and they wanted me to tell them when I first noticed the problem and if I ever dropped the phone. As soon as they found out I had dropped the phone they claimed there was no warranty. It didn't matter that the phone was dropped after I discovered the problem. There were many messages back and forth where they accused me of lying about the sequence of events. Finally I tried to explain to them about the horrible Customer Service they were providing and how they could still fix the problem by perhaps offering to fix the phone or even split the cost with me. The camera module is only $18 from AliExpress. The last message from them was that they would "pay the $18 if I would quit complaining". I have been on EBay for 14 years and have 100% feedback on almost 100 transactions so the problem isnt me.
Yes this company will say just about anything to sell their product and I am sure that people have had good experiences BUT that fact is that they absolutely lie about any after sale issue resolution. 60 days this...... 90 days that, absolute lie. If you get a good phone super but if you get a bad chances are you're screwed.

Update Oct 25 2017:

Well I went through the Paypal process with Toronto Cellular and gave paypal all the evidence of the ebay transaction, Toronto Cellulars ad in which I bought the phone, and ALL the correspondence between us. On Oct 17 paypal sent me an email indicting that I have been approved for a refund and provided me an address to send the phone back to in Toronto and to provide Paypal with a delivery confirmation within 10 day of the refund email to get my money back! Yeah for me!!!

So NOW, Oct 25th, Canada post has the phone in York to be delivered tomorrow and so I went into the email paypal sent me for my refund to get the instruction on how to submit the proof of delivery. This will entail loading up the proof into the OPEN CASE on my paypal account online. So I went into my paypay Resolution centre and to my surprise the case was CLOSED not open. Upon clicking into the closed case, it said that they ruled in the sellers favour!!!!! When this happened I have no idea as I was never sent any notification. so now that POS has my money and soon the phone!

I called paypal immediately of course and they told me to go to my credit card company and then they would give me my money back that way as they admitted to screwing me over with their flip flop decision making process and lack of communication throughout. I said I was not going to my credit card company and paypal needed to stick to the decision. Anyway they reopened the case again so we will see what happens.
What a nightmare.
Sorry for the long winded tale but if this helps at least 1 person make an informed decision on this company and its ethics then that is my hope.

I have long since given up on eBay sellers and Kijiji for phones. Way, way, way too many problems reported. I'd rather pay more and get something from a reputable seller like Orchard.

I bought an S7 from toronto.cellular in april, the phone was fine but the glass on the back shattered alarmingly fast. It didn't bother me much since I put a case on it anyways. Fast forward to a couple weeks ago, I was on instagram and then the phone locked up and faded slowly to black. No combination of button pushes can get this thing back on.

Soooo I ordered an s7 edge. Few minor blemishes here and there nothing major for a used phone. Unfortunately there is pretty obvious screen burn in from the keyboard. Its a verizon phone, it took a while to get it to work on public mobile. It still says I'm connected to Telus actually. I can't be bothered to send it back, I need a damn phone. Overall I'm not upset, you get what you pay for.

Avoid this guy at all costs!

I wish I discovered this thread before ordering from him.

I ordered an S7 from him. The phone I received from him is 100% fine cosmetically and pretty much everything is fine EXCEPT I cant make phone calls with it. As soon as I call someone else, they tell me there are noise issues. I filed a refund request and he refused. Ebay ruled in his favour. I appealed and ebay again ruled in his favour and removed my review. His 100% feedback is a sham. This guy is a fraudster.

Do I have any recourse? I ordered it with my credit card. I've never filed a credit card dispute before so I'm wondering what are the odds I'd get a refund? I just want a working phone (not my money back) but he's stopped replying.

You have nothing to lose by trying.

I just emailed them with questions about what reconditioned means. I just got blocked from purchasing from them. I have never purchased from them before. Perhaps this prompted me to read this site and I will not order.
Unbelievable.
I called Ebay to ask why I am blocked from this seller , as my account is excellent standing.
Buyer beware!
