A few years ago, it'd be common to see a wild bunny here and there.
I just went for a 10 minute drive to Timmies and back, I saw 8 bunnies. That's insane! Are they reproducing at an insane rate because of our mild winter or something?
Everytime I walk home from the YRT stop, it's almost guarenteed I'm going to see at least one bunny running around in the grass on my 5 minute walk home.
Anyone elses neighbourhood experiencing the same?

Yeah its due to the mild winter.
I don't mind those cute little creatures hopping around. They're evolutionary f**ked so let them be. They die very easily.
Bunny's are one of the most fragile animals that I know of

Yeah, I usually see about 10-15 on any given day.
I think if there were more coyotes the rabbit population would drop a bit, but of course everytime people see a coyote they freak out trying to call people to come and kill it.

Read up on University of Victoria. They had a bunny problem where the campus was overrun by bunnies.

It's a free dinner for you whenever you feel like it, why complain? Just put out a trap or two.

Coyotes, fishers and even barn cats keep the numbers down in my area. I rarely see bunnies. I see much more deer than anything.

Rabbits, Monarch Butterflies and Dragonflies. I play outdoor ball hockey in a park every weekend, and there has been many occasions of people running into some or all of the 3 while we play, its pretty hilarious. Mouthful of bugs!

I don't mind bunnies cuz they are cute. Nothing is worse then walking to you door at night and finding a skunk with his bum in their air.
