I would NOT, after getting burned by CVE at $16
This is $17, below $19-$22 range = no demand at all
You have to stop comparing IPOs against secondary offerings, they're completely separate beasts.

That said, I'm not too optimistic on this one, I did get a very large chunk of shares, with a 100% fill rate from TD...I'd be surprised if it opens in the green.

Only reason I even got it was I left for vacation after placing the order initially, and completely forgot about it until I got back this weekend. Would've otherwise cancelled it given it was still "open" even after pricing was announced

I'm only comparing it because both are energy related, which are getting no love nowadays

Anyway, no luck with recent IPO or secondary

Personally, I don't think either pipeline is going to happen anytime soon. Governments can pave the way by passing approvals but I see a lot of resistance on both fronts. I don't invest in stocks and don't have any financial motivation behind my opinion. It's just a feeling I get from the kind of opposition I see.

Know someone who knows someone who knows someone in IPO's. If retail is getting orders filled, it's a bad buy. Big boys get first dibs apparently.

I hereby and solemnly declare, with a touch of formality, and bits of pomp & circumstance, with a red wax seal, +1

Substantial drop this morning. How much is this stock worth without the expansion? I suppose it also depends on how much money they spend trying to get the expansion passed.

Aren't the NYSE and TSX listings separate companies?

Yes. Through BMO the TSX listing was: KINDER MORGAN CANADA LTD (CA: KML)
