Anyone interested in online space?
Hey guys,
I have recently purchased some online web space for my personal blog and future projects, but it's quite a bit of space and I wouldn't sharing it!
If you own a domain you wish to use and you don't want to spend an insane amount of money for a bit of space and unlimited bandwidth or you have always wanted to start a website, here's what I can offer:
1 GB storage space
Unlimited bandwidth (According to cPanel)
1-3 emails (desiredname@yourdomain.com)
1-3 MySQL Databases
1-3 FTP Accounts (To access your section)
All for the nominal price of $1/month! I'm not looking for anything to help bring in an income, just looking to put my web space to good use while I'm still busy with other parts of my life!
Could be used to host your very own webpage, test out ideas, or even just quick storage.
Anyone interested?
NOTE: You must have your own domain, as I don't want any subdomains being used at the moment.

The question is, what's in it for you? For that kind of money...

Nope, just subletting out space, it's more than I'll really need, and I figure a small fee would be more than fine since I'm not trying to profit.

Absolutely nothing, other than knowing that I'm actually using my space, and getting a bit of the investment back!
Giving a cheap hosting space to anyone on this forum and this forum alone, because it's a great forum, and we all have to start somewhere!

Is this your own server or a shared server somewhere else?
You should check your agreement to make sure you are allowed to do this without a reseller account.
Also I'm assuming you have separate ftp accounts for everyone, cpanel logins, etc? Make sure you're good with security and such as well. Not trying to be a downer but for $3 hosting elsewhere its a bit hard to use your space and have restrictions

Just to be honest...unless you have a reseller account, otherwise just parting out some of your space by providing your login to someone else is not wise. Plenty of security issues I can see..
