Anyone know of the availability of Cisco Linksys E4200 V2 router?
Anyone know if the Cisco Linksys E4200 V2 router is being sold in retail in Canada? If so, where? I can't find it in my local BB. I am aware of the recent WPS issue in all Linksys routers.

It is not just Linksys routers. It affect all WPS routers. It has to do with the passcode generation process for WPS, greatly reducing the actual number of passcode combinations. Makes it much easier for brute force attack.

Simple solution, don't use WPS to secure your connection.
Set a manual WPA2 AES encryption and you're good to go.

Get it from Cisco online home store. $189.99 with free ground shipping.
I cant seem to find it at any retailer, and most dont know what I am talking about. It's funny that the Futureshop Website has a review of the V2 posted, but no link to the product page.

Available at Best Buy and Futureshop
The E4200v2 is available at both Best Buy and Future Shop, but here is the good news BB has mistakenly priced their's at $169.99 and increased the price of the old E4200v1s to $189.88 and Future Shop has their v2 priced at $189.99. So I picked up a E4200v2 at Future Shop and had them price match plus 10 percent to Best Buy and got the router for $150 and change. Sweet...

Is there some reason you guys are hot on the V2? The review I read on this says the V1 is a better buy. No third party firmware, real world speed increase is non-existant except when sharing a USB drive.

I have an ASUS RT-N56U and I can shut off my WPS. Should look at this one as well! Awesome reviews for coverage and speed, IIRC it's better than the 4200.
