No. It was a call in contest. Caller 9 got entered into the contest. I think 3 -4 callers a day, except weekends. I think it started June 1

Its called the Fathers day Olympics. So you have to be a dad. I think Ill have a bit of a edge if its all physical thigns as I think Im in better shape than most dads.

Well I came in 2nd out of 50 people. Was a bunch of events. Was a close 2nd too.

But I did walk away with some prizes.

4. Jar of Jiffie peanut butter (dont ask)

A far cry from the $1000 and all the other prizes, but was still nice to beat 48 other guys.

I used to never win anything. That's because I hardly entered anything. My first big win was a cordless phone worth about $200 at the time. Then I won a hotel stay, then a pepsi iPod, then a laptop, xbox, dvds, etc. If you enter enough contests, you will win something.

btw, anyone getting more spam or telemarketing calls after entering your phone# and email?

I fill out hundreds of on line contests and yesterday I got my first piece of SPAM but because it's my first, I'm not even sure it came from completing an entry. I read or at least scan through most of the 'privacy' policies and most if not all of the reputable sponsors have a strict policy and do not share your information. If they do, it will say. As for the phone, that hasn't increased either.

I win about once a month (twice in September) and I've been entering since last June... I enter tons of contests daily, though, and it takes me about an hour. I've won mostly crap though heh lipstick, poptarts, a gift certificate at a restaurant, a box of Open Season stuff (including a mini red wagon and tiny Foreman grill), and a Massively Mini Media Player which is probably worth more than any of the rest.
