$3.99 is probably for lunch combo box. All the *** AYCE in GTA are almost in the same price range. What make them difference are mainly the decor, quality & service. Their menu are also similar, except a couple of them start to offer sashimi on lunch menu. I think the competition is getting tougher !!! That's why most non-chinese run *** food restaurants are moving out of East End Toronto. e.g. I saw an ad for Korean *** restaurant, they are putting $4-$6 for 2 pcs of sushi set on the end. It is half of AYCE lunch price, gone in your month in 2 seconds...... 4 orders of that can go pay for the AYCE sashimi dinner !
Back to your original question, my friends have tried it. They told me it is pretty ok, but not many customers yet as most people don't know their existence.
I guess pretty soon we will see AYCE *** more often than McDonald, in every major intersaction![]()

Anyone tried the new Japanese AYCE at Victoria Park/Sheppard?
Sorry that I don't have a name of that place. I believe it opened not too long ago. It's in the plaza behind Johny's Burger. I saw a sign of 3.99 lunch specials.
Reviews/comments would be appreciated.
Thanks!

Yeah it has to be. I only mentioned it cuz they got a fairly big sign outside of their store.$3.99 is probably for lunch combo box.
That's bad news to me. For some reason, I prefer the Korean-run Japanese restaurants more; no direspects to the Hong Kong chefs. That's why most non-chinese run *** food restaurants are moving out of East End Toronto.
Cool, I only asked cuz it's nearby where I live (the new one at Finch/Midland is nearby too; I might try it based on the reviews here)my friends have tried it. They told me it is pretty ok, but not many customers yet as most people don't know their existence.
That's a scary though; but a good kinda scary.I guess pretty soon we will see AYCE *** more often than McDonald, in every major intersaction
