Anyone tried a quadcore with their Shuttle K45/K48?
I'm thinking of getting a Q8200 and putting it in the K48). Currently I have an E2600 i think. The TDP for the 8200 is 95Watts and the PSU rating is only 100Watts. I was looking at some benchmarks and it doesn't seem to draw more than 60W under full CPU load for all cores.
I have read that the mobo does support 1333 speeds. Googling doesn't seem to give me anything as it seems nobody's tried it has posted if it worked or not
Thanks for any advice._______________
From a "Family" reviewer: "We Cheer teaches coordination, enticement to lust, women being used as sex objects, and team work."
From Worthy Playing: "We Cheer is, then, for all intents and purposes, the F-Zero GX of music games. It asks for so much, yet forgives so little. It is actually so casual that it's hardcore."

TDP doesn't exactly mean power draw, but there are relations. TDP is more about heat generation, but generally, the more power it draws, the more heat it generates. Anyhow, TDP should be more about what type of cooling you will need.
In a Shuttle, I wouldn't put any current quad, due to heat and not enough space in a Shuttle (unless you are using something other than air cooling). I would personally wait for the quad S models as they are supposedly 65W TDP.

Since your board doesn't seem to support this configuration, I guess it may be a moot point.
