Never had an Aopen burner before but seeing that Benq and LG are the most popular, there must be good reasons. I just bought the LG 4167B but it seems like the Benq 1640 is the more highly rated of the two.

Is the AOpen 1616 DVD Burner any good??
I just received an Aopen 1616 Burner as a Christmas gift. I haven't been able to find too much about it. Anyone have any thoughts??? Should I keep it or opt for a BENQ or LG???
Thanks in advance...Glenn B._______________

I had an Aopen cd burner before, and it only worked for 3 months before stopped working. Then I got a LG one which seemed to last forever until I upgrade to a LG dvd burner.

just keep it if you already opened it, or sell it if you havent yet.
either way, its only gonna cost $50 to get either LG or BENQ burner if you change your mind
