Apple Burger - another great Japanese innovation.

Treated myself to this today - I haven't had a regular burger for about a month or two (sometimes get chicken burgers but that's it). This was really delicious - they put apple with cinnamon on top of the burger. It tasted great.
*****, would eat again.

on top of the meat? or is that a pickle?
seems interesting. i've had honey on my burgers before (my friend loves doing that) and it was okay. its something different and i usually like the sweet and savory combinations.
I would like to try this. are the apples caramelized in a pan, grilled or raw? Man, does that bun look huge.

Yeah, the top bun looks exactly like a baked char sieu bao from the chinese bakeries don't it?
Would love to try one of these though. How much did it cost?

The picture was taken at an odd angle, I apologize. The apples have cinnamon sprinkled on them and are on top of the patty (you see a bit sticking out). They are put on the patty while it is on the grill.
The apples are baked before putting them on top of the burger.
If someone tries to make this, please post pictures
It cost 1260 yen or about $10.50. I know, I know - it's Japan.
