Actually I do, my friend detained a mother in Fortinos for shoplifting makeup until the police came and she was charged. A bit embarrassing as she had kids with her iirc. Technically you can't do anything to the suspect even if you caught them 'stealing'. It is also illegal to detain anybody in a store. Once they walked out of the store the only thing you can do is post their picture caught on camera. This is where professional theft ring comes in.
