The Apple warranty/free earphone policy
Ok, we all know Apple is easily scammable, so I'm not here to celebrate that fact.
What I'm going to say is -- I've gotten two free pairs of earphones/one free remote from Apple in the past, but since my warranty expired I am no longer able to acquire said items.
Is it possible for me to just ask a friend who has recently bought an iPod to request the earphones/remote for me? Could I even call myself and use his serial no./name and request them myself? I could. But, will I? Maybe...
These white earphones are a peice of crap, but I just can't afford to buy earphones these days... So it's basically Apple's fault for giving us these peices of crap.
What the heck is my point? Nothing. Discuss.Last edited by Derek; Sep 29th, 2006 at 03:05 PM. Reason: Fraudulent by the sounds of it, locked - Derek

If you order a product form them (ie. an iPod) you're covered for one year under their warranty. Included in this warranty are earphones. I am no longer covered under that warranty (as of 45 days ago) so I'm going to find a way around it._______________

Most companies don't even offer the warrenty that apple does. why don't you just go BUY a pair of headphones. If apple earphones are such garbage, im sure you could afford better. stop trying to lie and cheat your way to a new set of 'cheap earphones' drag your lazy .ss to the jobbank.ca, find a job, buy decent phones then.

Instead of insulting someone on an online forum why don't you realize that I'm smarter than you? Why do you think most companies don't offer that warranty? Well, maybe it could be because they don't make sh1tty earphones such as Apple... Turdling, go educate yourself._______________

Do you think Apple is stupid? It looks like it. They now wnt a $23.00 pay in advance fee to ensure you return the broke ones.
