i ended up getting this as i didn't want a water dispenser... i put in the other post in Hot deals but i got Lowes to PM for 810

http://www.homedepot.ca/product/stainle ... h-p/844696

i found the LG 20770 and 20786 appealing to the eye but the parts felt so cheap...the 20786 shelves felt like with enough weight it would fall easily.

Been shopping for appliance for a new home for the past few months, settled on Samsung for Kitchen and LG for Laundry after some research.
Pulled the trigger this past weekend at the Sears Home in Richmond Hill. Here are the prices I got:

Range: Samsung FE710DRS (5.9 cu.ft, Flex Duo Oven, True Convection, Warming Drawer) $1099
Fridge: Samsung RF260BEAESR (25.6 cu.ft, 35.75" Wide) $1,400 <-- I personally don't care for an outside water dispenser, just another thing to clean
Dishwasher: Samsung DW80F600UTS $549
LG Washer and Dryer Pair WM3470HVA/DLEX3470V (4.6 cu.ft/7.3 cu.ft, Turbowash, LG Steam, 6Motion) $1,499

What made you choose the dual over a regular double oven? Our oven just went last night, starting to shop around...
Your price for that is very good, was that part of a package purchase or individual prices?

added. Good price. Some reviews say the washer has softener dispenser problem though

I have this set. The soap dispenser is pretty good but lots of water left in the softener compartment. I don't use softener so I could see how annoying it would be when I see how much water is left in it after a cycle. I run vinegar through it to prevent any musty smells. Otherwise love the washer. Steam cycle on dryer is so so. Sometimes it wets the clothes too much. If you can get them for a good deal, I'd get them again but not at full price.

The stove price is also currently offered by futureshop, saw it in their boxing day flyer.

Some things I liked abt this model: Glass control panel (not flimsy plastics), Warming drawer, 3-level main burner. The flex duo is just a nice to have, gven its the same price as one model lower, temp isolation won't be as good as a true dual oven.

Lots of appliance deals in the Lowes flyer.

Any opinions on the Samsung front-loading steam washer and dryer combo on the front page? We're in the market for a washer-dryer and Miele is out of our price range.

Any word on deals from high end appliance suppliers like miele, caplans, goemans, etc?

I'd be interested in good prices on 24" washer/dryer sets.
If you guys/dolls are in the GTA, I would recommend that you visit Appliance Canada in Vaughan and ask for Teresa Vo. I've been dealing with Teresa for over 8+ years and I never have to shop anywhere else. Here prices are unbeatable to me. I've checked elsewhere on prices and she always comes up on top. Just let her know that Sunny referred you and she will take care of the rest.....

Let me know what you guys think of this package I picked up from Sears a week ago. They said they would hold it for me until my house is built so aprox. 5 months and include free delivery. I also got an extra 10% back in store credit for total purchase when I signed up for a Sears Credit Card.

Kenmore Fridge model # 4679213 $1000
Kenmore Double Oven Range model # 970C60063 $1500
LG Dish Washer model # LDS6040ST $700
LG Washer model # WT5170HV
LG Dryer model # DLEX5170V washer/dryer combo $1400
Kenmore Fridge model # 970R42103 x2 $600 x2
Kenmore range model # 970C60323 x2 $500 x2
Kenmore Dishwasher model # ? $350

They will pricematch for 90 days and I have the option to return anything in the next couple weeks if I find a better price or model. Its hard to find many reviews on Kenmore products so any advice and or opinions on products would be appreciated
Thanks

I think the best deal for the laundry pair right now is the samsung washer and dryers combo at future shop. It's the 4.6 cu ft washer with steam and power foam. As well as steam dryer 7.4 cu ft.

$1379.98
We bought this as well. Great deal and we don't use fabric softener (allergies), so even if there's a problem with the dispenser, we saved a ton of moolah.

I looked at the reviews for the flex duo - even on the Samsung site, after the first few, they were brutal! Dropped it from my short list..
