Mine was making strange sound after a few months use. Plus the turning knob timer is painful to use. Number pad is wayyy better.

Bought this double oven today:

http://www.futureshop.ca/en-CA/product/ ... 31535ben02

They don't have any online at this point, but in my local Winnipeg store there were 8 available locally. Best price by at least $100 compared to Home Depot, Sears, The Brick, etc. plus gave me free shipping and some stainless cleaner, picked up the 5 yr warranty for $210.
Reviews seem quite good overall...plus it is blizzard like conditions today so was able to walk in and buy one, no waiting, even did some returns at BB and Walmart without having to wait!
Got to love full time 4 wheel drive + studded winter tires!

Anyone dealt with Billa Appliances on Steelcase Ave?
Anyways, seems like they had a lot to choose from. Their showroom is not bad too.
I found that their staff is very friendly, nice to talk to, very patient and answered all your questions.
Also found out that all their prices are a little over-inflated on the MSRP side so don't be afraid to negotiate the sale price further.

I just bought a double oven stove there (Maytag) model MET8885XS.
It's highly rated on Consumer Reports (November 2013 issue - Best Products of the year)
I was able to negotiate the price down to $1200 for it. MSRP is $1900 but they tagged the MSRP @ $2100!!

I looked at the reviews for the flex duo - even on the Samsung site, after the first few, they were brutal! Dropped it from my short list..

Of course, but these seemed worse than usual, and showed a consistent pattern of issues with the oven divider..

People are MORE inclined to write a bad review than a good review because it makes them feel better.

I just go by consumer reports most of the time... they are usually trust worthy and all their recommended products that I've purchased in the past has been great or above average.

Let me know what you guys think of this package I picked up from Sears a week ago. They said they would hold it for me until my house is built so aprox. 5 months and include free delivery. I also got an extra 10% back in store credit for total purchase when I signed up for a Sears Credit Card.

Kenmore Fridge model # 4679213 $1000
Kenmore Double Oven Range model # 970C60063 $1500
LG Dish Washer model # LDS6040ST $700
LG Washer model # WT5170HV
LG Dryer model # DLEX5170V washer/dryer combo $1400
Kenmore Fridge model # 970R42103 x2 $600 x2
Kenmore range model # 970C60323 x2 $500 x2
Kenmore Dishwasher model # ? $350

They will pricematch for 90 days and I have the option to return anything in the next couple weeks if I find a better price or model. Its hard to find many reviews on Kenmore products so any advice and or opinions on products would be appreciated
Thanks
