As a person who has recieved resumes, email it as a PDF attachment. When you send a fax you are never sure how it will come out on the other end. I've seen some pretty misreable ones come through where I could barely make out the phone number.
You could send it as word document but there could be formatting issues if you use a fancy text or image (or more importantly viruses), I like to see email submission in PDF format.

personally drop off your resume if at all possible.unless i specifically ask for e-mail or fax resume,i toss them out if not hand delivered.delivering your resume shows me you are willing to go the extra mile, and therefore commands my attention.

email ... in PDF format. not word, not text, not html,.... PDF.
when i was in the position of receiving email resumes, i HATED trying to figure out the format of the resume being typed into an email window. also didn't like the grammar underlines when i would open up the word document. so PDF is the way to go. you can make free PDFs on the Adobe site.

I've had better luck going to an employment agency. If they ask to meet me, I've always secured a job that way. It helps to have excellent interview skills though.

sometimes the ad only gives u one contact to send it to. then u have no choice. but i would go for fax if i could, then email. always have created them in word. I choose the ignore rule to delete the squiggly lines for grammar.
