Applying for bursaries?
Has anyone had any luck with bursaries? When will York’s bursary program be available for fall/winter term?
What about external bursaries? Any good sites that list ones available. Is it to late to apply?

Apply for every single York bursary!!! Your chances of getting them is very high. They usually give out $400 per semester.

Does anyone know exactly how to apply for external bursaries from York? Because all I see is a list of them, and it only allows me to print the name of them and such but I see no online way to apply to any.
It also seems like York's bursaries aren't open for Fall/Winter yet, as it logs me out when I try to submit a profile. It also talks about summer bursaries & their schedule. I wonder when they will have the Fall/Winter profile workshop, it says for Fall the deadline is September 25, 2006 but has no information for the profile workshop (still has the summer schedule.
Any tips? Are there any other sites that have links to bursaries. I'm pretty low on income, already have OSAP and a bursary could REALLY help me pay for traveling expenses & books since it will cost around $300-400 for books and over $600 for traveling via TTC this year ($87 x 7). Last year I didn’t pay much attention since I had a little bit of money saved up and only had school 3 times a week (21 credits). This year I have 5 times a week.
Appreciate any help.

I’m specifically wondering at this time how to apply to external bursaries from with in York or if there are any other website that offer bursaries. I pretty much have no income and get about $6500 from OSAP, my parents income combined is under $70,000 with 2 dependants. An extra $500 or $1000 could really help me deal with travel expenses.
I might have to get part-time work otherwise and that will be a pain in the ass with 5 days of school and all the reading my courses require.
