Aquarium friendly apartments?

Hi,
I'm moving to Toronto for work around May. Has anyone had trouble renting from their landlord/building for having a medium sized aquarium (25-35G)?

Thanks

They're not legally allowed to stop you from having one, but you better make absolutely sure that it won't leak or break. A friend of mine had his a fairly large one (about the size of a desk) break and completely destroy the floor of his apartment. The landlord made him pay to get the floor replaced.
Could HAVE, not could OF. What does 'could of' even mean?
