I'd totally buy if it comes with a space where I can insert my PS2/3/4 and I can play whatever fighting game I want.

I installed a Raspberry Pi in mine. I have every fight game on my cabinet + upgraded sticks and buttons.

Yes, it must be part of their new strategy of finding a replacement to Walmart for Canada (as per previous communications from the company). Hopefully next step is including the new release cabinets.

Tons of space inside. I built a shelf in one of mine.

Great news. Just an FYI to everyone here, EB Games is now taking pre-orders on Wave 3 cabinets. $50 deposit.

Here are the SKU's :

Golden Tee - 748519, $549 CAD
Star Wars - 748711 $649 CAD
TMNT - 748710 $549 CAD
Marvel vs Capcom - 748709 $529 CAD

They all include custom risers. Star Wars is actually cheaper here than in the U.S.!

Good to see a new retailer. But the pricing is outrageous! Way too expensive IMO
They started selling street fighter last month and it also is too expensive at $499. https://www.reddit.com/r/Arcade1Up/comm ... es_canada/

Not really expensive

Star Wars in the U.S. $499 X 1.33 exchange = $664 CAD (slightly less)

Golden Tee in the U.S. $399 X 1.33 exchange = $531 CAD (slightly more)

If you think they are expensive in the U.S. - that's another story. You can't anything else similar at these price points.

That is great news indeed.

I will be in the states (MN) next week and planning to get one at Walmart (at least the SF cab) and a riser then Amazon has the SF in stock. I should just probably get the riser instead and just order it from Amazon. What do you think?

I probably go to paradise arcade store as well to get some Sanwa stick and buttons. Any more recommendations while in the States specific for this hobby?

TIA! :)

The SF cabinet is not on sale anywhere in the US right now. Amazon.ca price is the best I have seen lately. Definitely pick up a riser in the US if you can.

Lots of good arcade signs at Hobby Lobby if you are down also - great for the walls around your arcade. ;-)

I bought my sticks and buttons on Amazon but you may have a local spot - support local business if you can!

But tempted to pick up sw and tmnt.
Canada dollar is 75 cents so sticker shock for sure when you add 33%.

I still think for $500-650 to get brand new arcade machines is pretty decent if you are into it. Personally these games were my life as a teenager and to have that same experience in my basement now is a dream come true. I will pre-order Star Wars for sure.

This exactly. I'm surprised our prices are on par with the US, hope that starts translating to more items instead of this being an outlier.
I would love to get the Star Wars, but nowhere to put it Smiling Face With Open Mouth
c'mon get happy! :cheesygri
