Price in title should only be changed to $139 to reflect new website price not $114.99 just because of the Masterpass promo

How does this jack compare to this cheaper alternative from Amazon (~$65)?
https://www.amazon.ca/Powerbuilt-640181 ... 050&sr=8-3

I'm looking for a jack just for winter tire swaps on my CR-V, and don't need anything too heavy duty. Will this one from Amazon be sufficient?

Lifting range: 5-5/16 inch to 13 inch

Not sure if that will be adequate for your CRV.

Probably not. You should get a 3 ton jack. I have a 2017 crv and I picked up this 3 ton jack with stands and creeper from home depot for $78. It lifts to 18 inches but still isn't enough for the rear jack point (the tow hook). The front jack point is ok. I had to buy 2 hockey pucks and screwed them together to give me another 2 inches in order to lift the rear enough to put jack stands

I got mine from the terminal Ave loc in vancouver last week. The Coquitlam store lists 3 but employees couldn't find it in store.

I saw the $150 in store as well and they look pretty identical. Maybe the $150 one is just a newer version? Nothing wrong with the $78 one. The jack is a beast... Big and super heavy. Much better than the torin big red one on amazon I got earlier.

Also considering this 2-ton Big Red from Princess Auto @ $35..
https://www.princessauto.com/en/detail/ ... -p8662934e

It's a big price difference, and I'm really wondering if the premium is worth it..
if you only want to jack up the car at the pinch welds to change a tire, it might work. the princess auto jack only lifts to 13 3/4 inches. not sure if thats enough to get the wheel off the ground.
if you want to jack up at the center rear and center front plates so you can put jack stands at the pinch welds to change the tires (safer way), it probably wont lift high enough

Thanks for the tips :)
Will probably spend a bit extra to get this Arcan from Costco.. and find a good deal on some jack stands.

I bought the Torin one instore at Costco. Definitely heavy but got it for my 2017 Honda Pilot since it comes with a SUV adapter... Anyone know if this Arcan one would work with a Honda Pilot?

I can't seem to find any details on the height the jack should be able to reach to work with the Pilot.

RFD effect, OOS now. Maybe costco received too many offers and figured they don't have enough stock coming lol.
