BST post icons, Shipping and/or no shipping available icons???

I see many posts in Computers and Electronics that indicate the area(GTA,GVR,OTT),some indicate they are willing to ship while others do not.Some don't specify either way.Is it assumed if they post indicating the area (ie GTA,GVR,OTT) that they are not willing to ship????The majority of BST posts seem to orient out of the GTA,but shipping is a crap shoot.How about we get a post icon that indicates shipping or no shipping??? Would save alot of time and aggravation.Thanks.

if the seller puts the location (GTA/GVR etc) icon, then most likely you can assume he/she prefers to deal locally.

and since you're only allowed one icon, i would definitely pick location over ship/no ship since its more important.

OK,but why is the location more important ? RFD members are all over the country,some of us have no choice but to deal with other members in different areas.If I see a great deal on a graphics card in BST,I'm willing to pay for shipping no matter where the location is(with good refs/evals of course) To me location is irrelevant as I'm either buying or selling and shipping is a given.I guess living in a large population area most of the deals are done locally, a luxury I don't have here in the north.I vote for two icons,one for area and one for shipping.Then again if you're willing to ship an item,location doesn't really matter,doh!!!:razz:
