Wow, $100. Looks perfect for a linux box. I've never shopped at PCV before though. Anyone know if their online deals are also available in-store? Website doesn't specifically say one way or the other and $19.99 shipping to the GTA is a bit steep IMO.

There was no mention of a CPU cooler anywhere in the description, and a lot of OEM packaged AMD CPUs don't come with them. It would add ~20-40$ depending on what/where you'd get one. The NewEgg link posted for the processor shows that there isn't one included with OEM, and the PCV link doesn't specify OEM or retail. Since it doesn't come assembled, it's worrisome.

I know, "How could you sell a whole PC without a CPU fan?"
Still, the details are a bit vague.

Awesome price though.

Is this faster than my Intel P4 3.2Ghz I bought back in 2003? I imagine it should be, given my cpu is like 8 years old, but I don't if know the speed difference would be worth it.

I got a P4 3.2 and Athlon 2800+ sitting in the basement. I should sell these. I didn't know people are still interested in these units.

Its just old technology being liquidated. The CPU has a release date of October 8, 2007. Best price on this CPU is just $29.00 at NewEgg.com. Still, this is a good PC for most people, most people that don't game that is.
They say technology was supposed to make life easier. Sure had me fooled.

It's 26 when you use regular shipping, it's 60$ when you choose their "fast shipping" option.

Just came back from Markham store. The guy said that they don't assemble this desktop PC for the customers.
So I decide to assemble them myself. I paid $124.24 for everything. :)
1. MB BIOSTAR MCP6PB M2+ WCPU MD Sempron LE-1250 Sparta 2.2GHz , CPU cooler included.
2. RAM KINGSTON KVR800D2N5/1G
3. Seagate Barracuda (ST3500418AS) 7200.12 SATA 3.0Gb/s 500GB 16MB Cache (OEM), paid $10 more because there is no 250G hard drive in store.
4. LG GH22NS50 Black SATA DVD-Writer 22xDVD+/-R 6xDVD+R DL 48x CD-R
5. CS atx-206 mid tower black w/450w

Thanks fatcrazycat ;)
