View Full Version : Why is the very first rule of RFD forums not recognized in the Pet forum?

If I post that I'm giving away my fridge for free in the Home & Garden Forum, it would be moved to BST. Same as if I'm selling a PS3 in the Video Game Forum...

So why are people allowed to sell or give away pets in the Pets Forum?

This is setting a bad precedence to allow any backyard breeder looking to make a quick buck to post in the Pet Forum.

Below are 3 examples:

Do mods even bother with the Pet forum?

I was about to say it's only been 20 minutes, then I saw the month you posted. 6 months and no reply from the administration? Sad.

It was a different thread. I flagged it as advertisement, but nothing was done for days. Now it's locked (thanks).

But it seems like every so often, I need to remind the mods that the Pet Forum exists.

It's great and all that you let yiddishkeit plug a few adopt-a-thons even though it is advertising, but lately the Pet forum looks like a bulletin board for Toronto Cat Rescue.

Thank you for bringing it to my attention, I will look into it momentarily.
