Well he tried to give his ideas & opinions (which were not the best) but still he tried, just that everybody else didnt like it. On the other hand what did Pamela do besides taking the responsibility of leading the team and asking the men to take off their ties ? Her behaviour was not acceptable to say the least and she did not come up with any ideas of her own. I guess Rob got the short end of the stick here, somebody had to go and Trump wanted to keep Pamela around for her tenacity and nastiness.

haha, I dont think Stacey will turn out to be the next Omarosa..no one can top her! (and no one should want to..eek), but I thought the 8-ball thing was kinda pointless...who cares if she was freaking out about it, it looked like she was just being overly positive, unlike Omarosa she would have been overly negative.

Oh and I read a little blurb in the Metro earlier this week about Bill's new book that's coming out and I'm not sure if I read it correctly or not, but Bill mentioned something about only having to work for The Donald for a year. Does that mean that this position is only for a year so that you can get your foot in the ground and then they let you go? Or was that just something that Bill was projecting for himself?

Also I think some of the "friction" has started much earlier this season - as if it was done deliberately by the producers and/or contestants. Last year it seemed that Omarosa turned into an idiot rather than starting off as one in the first episode.

Crazy people. I can't believe a team of men could not come up with a single idea about what would appeal to 10 year old boys. "Crustacean Nation"? Morphing lobsters? Is that the best they could come up with? God, somebody shoot these guys. Trump should have fired them all for being idiots.

Yes, Rob probably should have gone, but it was close between him and Andy. Andy's got no experience but he's a smooth talker, so he probably saved himself. I would have kept Rob just to see what he is capable of. If he had stayed, Rob probably would have done something impressive next week to show up all his detractors. There is going to be a lot of animosity between the men since all of them were finger pointing in the board room.

The women at Apex had some good ideas for the toy project, but that Bradford guy shot all their ideas down and went with his little football guys. What's with the guys in this season's crop? They are all morons. Little football guys with a face! When Mattel shoots his idea down, Bradford tries the women's idea of the interchangeable morrphing remote control car. Then he says it's his job to listen to everyone's idea and not be a dictator, which was exactly what he was when he tells the ladies to screw off and he's going with his little football guys.

Should be an interesting season. The next project should be whether either team can fix Trump's hair. If they manage to make it move, I say we'd have a winner.

Raj is really stylish. I know, what's with that cane? ;) but it got him noticed, and that could work towards his advantage. Still Week One, so it's hard to say what will happen to, say, Psycho 8-Ball Girl. ;) She was flippin', but of course, might have just been the editing. Ya think?

There was a shy-seeming woman who was like 4' tall. No kidding! There was this one scene where it showed some of the tall guys walking past, and I assume they're 6'. And then, some of the women, about a foot shorter. And then, her! Who was she? She's like a blonde... I'm gonna look her up. Ah, STACY R. She's got to be gutsy, although I've seen a face like hers before and it wasn't exactly in family-friendly entertainment. (I don't know why that came up!)

Hey, last season, didn't they do full intros for all of the contestants? Seems like this time, they just dove into the meat of the action because it might have been too boring or something. They'll likely unfold it later, but it's interesting how some things are kept the same (the amazing music) and how other things vary.

IMO the only reason Rob got fired is because he made such a big deal about not contributing to the task, during AND after the task. The rest of the "team" smelled blood and ganged up on him in the boardroom. If he had just kept his mouth shut, the blame probably would have been scattered throughout the room and he wouldn't have been chosen as one of the final three.

From what we were shown I don't think he contributed much more or less than the rest of the guys. I think what he didn't understand was that there were 8 other people on the team and he was only going to have roughly 1/9th of the responsibility. I'm sure he felt if he wasn't making a MAJOR contribution, he stood a good chance of getting fired, so he figures before anyone else points out how little he did, he better defer the blame to the team leader. Problem was, I doubt anyone would have made an issue out of his participation level in the first place so he ended up creating the problem.

I agree completely, from what they showed he seemed to have been contributing just fine, his need to be heard is what set him up as an easy target. And just because one person wanted him out they all did because he was just an easy marker at that point, that way the rest of the candidates were safe for yet another week.

Queasy Bake you say? Interesting twist on the easy-bake, makes disgusting looking candies and such that are supposed to taste alright... as good as you could expect from an oven driven by a light bulb! :cheesygri Of course, it's not available anymore and doesn't show up on the Hasbro product pages. Yeah Raj didnt do much in the first challenge not even as much as Rob. In the boardroom Trump asked Raj who he should fire and Raj blamed Pamela & Andy, his reasoning was not good either. Then Trump asked the whole group why Raj shouldnt be fired and each and everybody defended Raj. Some of them even said "Raj is one of the brightest persons in this group". Trump was surprised at this reaction from the group. Later when Pamela decided to take only 2 people into the boardroom, Trump was upset at this as he had less options when it came to firing.

I dont see Raj making it further than 2-3 episodes depending on how well his team does. Given the chance Trump would have fired him in the first episode itself.

Damn I missed this Tuesday so I was ready for the CNBC coverage. Listing showed CNBC apprentice. Turned it on...and we got "CNBC world" in that timeslot instead. Never seen that happen before and I have CNBC on a lot. Don't know if it was like a few weeks ago where cable co broadcast Canadian Idol over CBS big brothers spot (they gave me $5 off my bill for that one)

Agreed but looked like Trump was more intent on proving that when the candidate's are given a privilege they should use it and dont act like too overconfident. Most of the people this season are too overconfident and it clearly ticks Trump off. First episode, Trump was mad at Pamela for not bringing 3 people into the boardroom when he gave her the choice.

While it was not smart to put your neck on the line when you don't have to, I think the firing was uncalled for. In the workplace, this would be called UNFAIR DISMISSAL.

Even teammembers said that the person in question did a great job - I can't think of anything this person did that weakened the team or the result during the task. However, others definitely did.

It is one thing to put your neck out and take a gamble that someone else's faults will be judged to be more significant than your own, but when you have not faultered & are confident in the job you did and you have people to back up what you accomplished, there is absolutely no justification in being crusified the way the Donald ripped into that person.

"You made a STUPID mistake and if you were the boss of one of my companies I would have fired you for it" or something. That doesn't make sense -- the analogy would be that as president of a company you might make a bet with rival presidents and say for example "if this product is not successful then I will resign" - if it wasn't successful, you would have to quit if you were true to your word.. in which case, you *couldn't* be fired! If the product launch *was* successful, then you'd have no reason to be fired.. no harm done.

I would have fired Ivana. She was indecisive, did not lead her team well, and brought the 3rd person into the boardroom soley with the idea to bolster her attempt to gang-up on someone else, in order to save her own ass. A captain should be the last one off the ship, instead Ivana wanted to take drown her crew.

Just watched the extendomix last night (purposely skipped Thursday's airing). What a ridiculous firing. I couldn't believe how much Trump kept going back to Bradford's decision, as if the decision itself, not a poor performance, was more than enough to get him fired.

Trump is an absolute joke. Stacy's craziness happened on the first week and no one besides the ladies were in the waiting room to witness what happened. I do not think Trump or his associates get access to the video tapes during the taping (i.e. to review performances...remember what you are seeing is edited by the crew during/end of the season of taping). The ladies saw a "panic attack" by Stacy (and really only happened once).

What Trump is concerned is that Stacy has now been involved in 2 final board meetings where she didnt do anything significantly wrong except be the scapegoat to be fired. Seeing this, Trump needed a reason to explain why the girls have been choosen her for the last 2 final board meetings. He had no choice but to fire her because the "team" did not get along with her....she was just not a team player. Also she was in charge of moving the crest boxes...and hopefully she wasnt the person that hired a homeless lady to do it (for $20)...that could have been another reason why Trump fired her ass.

The ladies have made 2 critical mistakes in the past weeks:

1. Poor communication (because of poor leadership)
2. Poor negotiation skills...anytime you negotiate terms...you get it on paper.

What's with this show? It's so damn screwy. The premier episode and the second episode both had a 2 hour extended version on a Saturday, where the first hour was basically the same as the episode that aired on Thursday. However, the second hour featured an extended boardroom. I thought they were going to continue this trend for the duration of Apprentice 2. Week 3 did not feature the 2-hour extended show as far as I know. Now they move Week 4 to Wednesday. Weird.

As for Trump's commentary, I can do without it. While it gives some insights into the way Trump runs his business, it reveals who the potential winning/losing team might be.

i don't really have a problem with Stacy getting fired...this is what happens in real life...if you are "different" and don't belong to a group...you are outcasted and usually become the scapegoat.

Now Apex has no-one to point the finger at. But all in all when you have 2 attorneys without any business skills (and only debating and negotiation skills) the group is doomed. The ironic part is the only person remaining in Apex with some business (model) knowledge is Ivana....however she is all about textbook versus application.

Trump will merge the group soon....there are too few ladies left.

Well, as mentioned before the task was shortened a bit while the boardroom was lengthened. Funny i didn't notice much of the missing parts although the task does seem to breeze by quicker, ending at the 25 min. mark I think. But because of the good editing they included all the important scenes so you don't miss much. Extended boardroom showed a little more talk by Jen C, Ivana, Jen M., Bill. We see Ivana mentioning Jen C. taking long smoking breaks, in this task and in task 1. And Trump says Bill can be tight because he was the winner. Hmm ... no mention of jewish ladies in the boardroom. That's about it I think.

Poor Elizabeth, always has a sad look on her face :) Looks like she might get voted off next week ... OOps, or should I say fired (wrong show!)

I was curious if we did see the entire boardroom meeting so I looked at the clock above the lobby couch as the 3 went to sit in lobby to wait for Trump and assocates initially at 7:10pm. I watched the rerun tonight of Week 4. Yeah, Jen C was the leader and she screwed up, but the girls didn't make things easy for her. There is no cohesion amongst the ladies. Ivana is complaining about how the men hired a cleaning crew to clean the restaurant while the women slaved all night long to get the restaurant ready. Ivana was very critical of Jen C on this point ("Jen C does NOT get it! She does not get it one bit!"). But why didn't Ivana speak up and offer Jen C a suggestion that the ladies should also hire a cleaning crew? She probably wanted the group to fail so Trump would fire Jen C. Apex deserves to lose every task from now on...they are so petty. There are no leaders in that group to pull it all together.

Today's episode was good. This was probably the smallest margin between the two teams in a challenge - $10 ! Anyway I believe that Chris made the wrong decision with Kelly's $71 pricing otherwise they could have sold more units. Raj's dare challenge was enjoyable, he's definitely the funniest guy with the smarts in this bunch.

Pamela was lucky in the first episode not to get fired, today her luck ran out when she was separated from the men's success wave.

Next episode looks interesting ... Raj has Carolyn in splits, George is p*ssed off real bad with somebody in the boardroom ... the women's team keep bickering and fighting on :-0, gosh when will they learn ?

I think she was the right person to fire. Never really liked her since the 1st episode and she would have been gone a lot sooner if the men weren't winning all the time...did you see her selling ice cream?

Anyways, she delegated, but then tried to take too much control back. Like she told somoene to figure out the price and then ended up setting it herself. She told Maria to handle the speaking and selling on TV and then ended up having her stand to the side and not doing anything. She told Jen to handle legal and then told her to stop being so legal lol...

I'm still rooting for Raj though...despite the rumours of the winners...

actually, nowadays it's been shown that people associate $69.99 as $70. That's why products are now $67.88 or something really abstract like that. So, if a person sees $69.99 they think I can buy this grill for $70. and if you make the grill $71.25 they think I can buy this grill for $70. So, by making it $1.76 more they pulled in an extra $300 and some change. You'd have to get at least 5+ more people that weren't willing to pay $71.25 but willing to pay $69.99 to make up for that. Which you may get in the long run, but in a 12 minute span, I don't know.

yeah but the women needed her guidance, I mean she did get through to them and that was the point! This is the first time I have watched the Saturday night episode. The challenge was over by 9:18 or so!! I just flipped it back now and they were doing some boardroom stuff. It seems like the focus was on the BIG pricing mistake, while during the normal Thursday show it didn't seem to be the main reason why Donald fired Pamela...

Watched the exclusive just now. It was okay, visual quality was good (wasn't choppy like those exclusive clips on yahoo site) but audio quality was really poor. Anyway here is a summary of what happened for those who missed it :


First was a QVC lady sitting with Trump and Sam (season 1) ... selling the Apprentice Season 1 DVD set. Has exclusive interviews never before seen. It was like $45 + $5 US shipping and sold out within 15 minutes. I actually want one too, hope I can pick it up with my Mentos GC :-)

Then Pamela and some QVC guy present the It Works set. I thought she was very convincing, even better than Jen. M. who looked bored during her presentation. Pamela was funny as usual, like the following part ..

"You know I don't have children. You know how I feel about children."
[audience laughter .. referring to her comments in task 1]

Sold out after the 5 minute presentation. Sam, looking at the stats screens, says Trump shouldn't have fired her because this time she sold 38,000 units! Compared to 17,000 units during the 12 min. on the episode's appearance.

Then Trump sits down with the QVC selling his book "Trump, Think Like a Billionaire" Book by Donald Trump for Advance Order Price $15.13 (ships 11/26/04). They show it has a special Trump family crest on the inside not in his other books. When asked from a member of the audience, Trump says he spent the most time on this book compared to his other books. They sold about 39,000 (?) books by the end of the presentation, only 4000 left. They say it's a new record!

Then Andy and Chris, and the rest of the Mosaic team present to sell their Panini grill again. $69.24 US + $8.72 S&H. Sam, looking at the stats screens, says they sold 50,000 units! Much better than their first time!


Then they brought in a bunch of Panini grills and every member of the audience got a free grill! [big cheers all around]

Show ended at 11:12pm.

from what i have read (pre apprentice 1) he isn't worth even close to a billion. If you accounted all of his personal assets and the like he is worth more like 200 million.

The reason I believe this is because I have read one of his books and he basically limits his liability as much as possible. This also means he limits his profits. He is very risk adverse.

Finished watching all 15 episodes of Apprentice Season 1 plus bonus footage (11 hours straight yesterday!). I missed quite a lot of episodes last season! Probably the first and last TV show series I'll ever buy.

This week's episode had the best looking guy fired. Too bad. But I'm really happy that Maria won as Project Manager .. she seems really capable. She's lucky it was really a task for the women to win, and she's smart to put Stacy and Elizabeth on the side. I'd really like to see Jen. M. lead next week.

Last night's episode was really nice - I am glad to see the Men lose. It was really cool to see Carolyn breaking up laughing (she was literally in tears - os much for the ice maiden!!).
Is Ivana the puppet master or what??? She has really stepped things up but the other girls seem to be just laying back and waiting. It's really getting interesting. Liked it that Maria won - in her own way very attractive!!

Yeah, it's not bad. The better bonuses were the deleted scenes, audition tapes of the contestants, pre-season interviews, extended taxi ride clips, and preview of Season 2 contestants talking about what they thought of Season 1 characters and how they related to them.

Actually I have some questions about the DVD set. Is it just me or did the original series have the "money money money" theme song? Instead, each episode had the "put your money .. where your mouth is ..." song. I don't remember but I thought they played a different theme.

Also, in one of the episodes, it showed Bill, Kwame, and Troy speaking with the executive of some circus. This person ended up being a 10 year kid in a suit! What made it really hilarious was .. at the end the boy tells them "Let me give you advice in life .. Don't sell when it's already sold". Kwame raises his eyebrows and I start LAUGHING like crazy! What's that all about? Is that for real???? I just want to smack that kid!

It was at Trump's hotel/casino in Atlantic City. Apparently that kid is some kind of producer of an circus/animal act in AC and the guys went to him to see if they could use a tiger (lion?) in connection with their promotion. The task was to get people to sign up for "player's club" cards and the team whose signees gambled the most $$ won the task. The guys were trying to come up with something to attract people to their sign-up table.

And IMO, the kid had a point. Troy did keep selling after the deal was done. But there probably was some editing done to make it seem like a better zinger than it really was.

There was some kind of mutual benefit, can't remember exactly what it was (maybe good publicity for the kid in exchange for a tiger), but even after the kid accepted, Troy kept saying how good the deal would be for both of them, etc. The kid was basically saying, "the deal is done, now you're just being annoying."

Well, I thought the secretary was "staged" since remember if you watch the Season 1 DVD set, the behind the scenes shows them before and during the construction of the boardroom and elevator portion of the tower specifically for the show. No, I didn't mind watching them clip doggy toe nails. I'm surprised Jen said she only had two bleeds the whole day. Because unless you're experienced in clipping pet toe nails, and even sometimes for experienced people, it's easy to have the bleeds. I was just wondering what the reaction of the customers were to see these strangers clipping their poor dogs and making them bleed "stupid dumb street bums!! I demand a refund!!!" :cheesygri

I am glad that Stacy is gone - although you could see that coming from a mile away. Man, Ivana has got to keep her opinions to herself - she is really becoming harsh. A couple of thoughts:
1) I really liked the fact that the team leaders had to choose who they didn't want on their team - much better than season 1
2) Wes was good at managing people but he should have come down harder on Andy - I think Andy will be the next to go - people have been after him for so long - I think they might make him PM for the next challenge just to get rid of him.
3) The secretary is OK - too expressive for a receptionist though.

I'm also guessing she let Maria go because she's exempt for this task so strategically that's one less person she could bring into the boardroom in case they lose, and as for Stacy .. well, that's a no-brainer.

Ok who's with me here. Rudy Juliani, Michael Bloomberg are two probably very intelligent men and have great leadership but I think it's a cheap reward. How much time do you spend with these people for you to even learn a damn thing. You're also in a group not alone so you can't even talk to them personally one on one. I'd take a nice fancy dinner over meeting people with leadership skills that can't rub off on you in such a short time.

I was rooting for Mosaic right from the beginning of this episode because it was make or break for Andy & I'm a a YUGE supporter of Andy. It was good to see Andy lead and lead well, something which is rare this season. The best part was that Andy didnt give in to Maria & Kelly. Elizabeth was her usual chaos. Her viewpoint was right but she did could not garner the support of her team. Kevin almost blasted her during the editing process.

The only thing that ticked me off in this episode was that when the NYPD ad was being shown at Times Square, the camera went from the Home Depot billboard to the lcd screen twice. Product placements are getting worse.

Next show's previews show something drastic; Stacie, Bradford and a couple of others are back !!! :d

And for Elizabeth : OUCH ! This was probably the most disgraceful firing ever.

no, I agree. it was a terrible show of leadership, and I was not at all surprised with how the firing went down. I expected it. but she's cute!

Elisabeth is very cute... She reminds me of an ex-gf (well, a blond version of her).. Anyway, I think the idea was VERY VERY bad.. Stupid to compare it so much to the military. I think Raj was largely to blame since he seemed to quickly discount everything Elisabeth had to say. I never heard them once say "yeah, the military comparison is bad, but we can't find a better idea so lets go with the military spin" until the boardroom. I feel sort of bad for Elisabeth... it is obvious she didn't have the confidence that was required to push/sell her idea, and she did flip flop a bit (since she seemed to try to sell Kevin a different idea the next morning)...

It was quite clear that the way Donald was talking she was going to go. I like the fact that he didn't drag it on...

Yeah, I have liked Andy since early on in the show, but I never realized how much people discounted him until I see him as project manager. The last two tasks he got handed the joe jobs and ended up looking really weak.

One thing I noticed was how brutal Kelly seemed this episode. I think he doesn't respect Andy at all, or at least that's how the editors portrayed it.

On the flip side, I knew there was trouble right away from Elizabeth. In the board room she kept saying "Well, I didn't want to do an idea I didn't like, that's why I didn't want to do the military theme!" but I was suprised no one mentioned that SHE DID DO THE MILITARY THEME. Right now, I like Wes and Andy on the one side and Jen M and Kevin on the other. Raj is pretty interesting too, but he hasn't really shown anythign above and beyond yet.

I noticed that in the first season too but it was just rare enough that I was never sure.

This season is worse and it convinced me that if they can do that, then they aren't afraid to stage and or restage any part of it.

Tonight's episode was yet another example of how if you don't play the game exactly how Trump steers you, you get fired. Bradford shows confidence by waiving his immunity, he gets fired (and for no other reason). Raj decides not to bring Chris in at the last second after Trump hinted he should, he gets fired. Raj made other mistakes, but not bringing in Chris was clearly Trump's favorite. In fact, Trump seemed leaning towards bumping off Kevin before Chris spoke up.

I guess the lesson is listen to Trump's hints and whatever you do, don't rock the boat. Don't step outside the box that is Trump/Burnett's rigid game or you're guaranteed to get fired.

And did anyone else see this episode, with bringing back old contestants, as the Apprentice shark jump?

2) Ivana - I don't know about her - if Carolyn hadn't jumped to her defense she would be gone I'm sure - she was trash-talking about Stacy (back-handed compliments are so uncouth!).
3) Pretty crappy reward - so what - yes, the Hamptons are great and it was a nice helicopter ride but who cares?? Jennifer did put on a little weight but she has a nice face - very cute.

Tammy was not disloyal, she was just misunderstood. She misread the situation and intended for it to be a joke but obviously they didn't see it that way. Even during the cab ride you can tell she had absolutely no idea what just went on "I did nothing wrong". It's hard enough for an asian to live among westerners for 13 weeks or however long it was. If it were a bunch of fellow chinese she was competiting against, and Donald Trump was chinese, things would have been very different. Any asian will tell you that (that is, asians who were not born here as they usually find a tougher time getting along with the whites).

I disagree. If you followed this season right from the beginning, Raj has had a valuable input in every challenge save the last NYPD campaign & the Women designer clothes. Ivana is terrible. Thing is that she was 100% sure to be fired when she was the PM and Bradford's mistake saved her from getting fired; it was like she was given a second chance because of Bradford's overconfidence. She has done absolutely nothing positive in most of the challenges except for looking out for the PM's mistakes so that she can use them in the boardroom. Moreover when Jen C got fired, Trump said Ivana was getting better. This has got to her head and she thinks that she is the best candidate in all the women. And the last but not the least negative thing about Ivana is that she cant work in any team, she always has a problem working together as a group.

My thoughts on the episode:



Bradford was really smart in judging that relying on a contractor brought by Kevin was wrong. So I think Trump's instinct of getting rid of Bradford was wrong. Bradford was probably the best candidate for the job.
When Raj was elected the PM, he said it was do or die for him. He didnt look like he gave his best shot when he knew that it was crucial for him. Relying on Kevin's judgement solely was his biggest mistake.

I don't think finishing the bathroom could have saved them. Every part of that house was equal to or lower than the 1st... i.e., the yard was wrecked, there was still a trash dumpster out front, the carpet was wrecked.

But even if they had done everything else just as good as the 1st team... they still would have lost because of the missing bedroom. "only" 3%? That's $12,000 in value. That's half of the increase they did manage. It's a huge amount. You're never going to recover anywhere close to $12,000 just by finishing a bathroom.

However, you could MAYBE get CLOSE to $12,000 by leaving that bedroom in.

Chris just on CNBC. They asked about him and ereryone getting into the cab wearing a coat when it was shot in July. Answered "it's possible it was shot at another time". As in, the leaving/cab scenes were all shot long after it was all over. Makes you wonder howmuch is reshot.

Everytime Ivana gets dragged into the boardroom, she escapes by the skin of her teeth only because other people screw up so badly that Trump really has no other choice. You know Trump is itching to pull the trigger on Ivana. He can't stand her. He always slaps her down during the boardroom. Trump probably wanted to fire Ivana but again, someone else ecllipsed her stupidity.

Chris was totally useless during this task. He talks about how much he wanted to be project manager so he can restore some chemistry and pull the team together. He did nothing. He sat on his ass most of the time. If he were smart, Chris probably should have hired a bridal consultant right from the start since his team was in a disadvantage since Sandy is in the bridal business. Chris was damn lucky he got that bridal consultant, Burnadette, to help him or he wouldn't have even managed to sell one dress. Unfortunately, Burnadette came into the game much too late to really help Chris.

Actually, this week's episode is week 11, and we have 8 people starting, and the preview on the nbc website is that episode 12 well start with 6 people since, episode 13 is to be a Recap.

So i predict two people are being fired this week...to keep in line with this, and make room for an upcoming recap show. This fits in well with this week's preview of Trump "calling someone back to the boardroom" after one firing.

I dislike Ivana because of her attitude on previous episodes but when credit is due, I would say that Apex team won ONLY because of Ivana's wheel idea. The only thing Ivana did not do right on today's episode is that she should have cut Jen off during the presentation and claimed that the idea was hers. People will always try to take credit away from you, you cant stand silent and watch it.
I hated Jen for a long time and after today's episode, I really hope that she goes next. Like Ivana says, Jen is all presentation, no talent.
Wes, oh god ! What was he thinking ? Right, he doesnt even know how to react. Remember, Elizabeth also took Kevin's "backoff" attitude silently and got fired.
Maria, that was coming. She was made 2 critical errors and was caught lying twice.
Andy, what a comeback to Trump ! Now Trump is pissed off about it :cheesygri
Kevin, poor dude sweats too much.

This weeks episode was crazy- My thoughts on the episode

- maria doesn't get along with anyone and she is a control freak

- Maria's like " Back off " and Wes just backs off and doesn't tell her anything like what kind of leadership is that?

- Wes, Sandy and Andy were silent the whole presentation because of maria was controling everything, and Wes should have said ok Maria " back off " and don't try to control the whole thing.

- Maria started to cry when her and Sandy were fighting

- Apex did a great job with there catalog and the idea of putting themselves in the pictures was great because it shows normal everyday people.

- Ivanna's Idea of the wheel was great to show the fit and the style of the jeans. In the presentation Jennifer was trying to take all the credit for the idea when Ivanna was about to tell him how they thought of the ideas jennifer just intruptted and started talking.

- Apex deserved the win and I never expected both Maria and Wes to be fired

My thoughts on this week's episode:

1. Ivana and Jen: I've always liked Ivana, but I get really exasperated with her when I know she can do better. I'm glad Ivana came up big this week...like I said in an earlier post, Ivana had to grab the bull by the horns. It's a bit of a vindication or redemption for her. Jen should be b!tchslapped for taking credit for Ivana's idea...what a pisser. Jen couldn't even understand the concept of a spinning catalogue. They draw it out for her and she still didn't get it. But she had no problems taking credit for the idea. I'm glad Kevin realized that Jen was horning in on Ivana's time in the spotlight. If Bill and Carolyn are really Trump's eyes and ears, then hopefully Trump will know about Ivana's contribution to this task.

2. Maria: a control freak. If she thinks she is not, then she is deluding herself. The time she spent with the photography tells me she had no regard for what the team was trying to accomplish. The team had deadlines to meet, but what the hell did she care? She does not have an inclusive approach to teamwork. Singlehandedly takes charge of the catalogue, putting off the rest of the team. But then she takes out most of the ass-shots (Levi's seems to put a lot of stock in the ass-shot) and does an amateurish job with the catalogue. Piss poor team member and I'm glad Trump got rid of her.

3. Wes: Like Carolyn says, he's a sharp guy, but no leadership skills. He is valuable on a team, but he has no business leading. They couldn't even get it together to wear Levi's stuff during the presentation. I'm sure the Levi's panel was very impressed.

4.Overall: Good boardroom. Highlights included Andy's response to Trump's question, "Why are you so quiet, Andy?", the double firing. Man, Kevin needs some kind of all-over body anti-perspirant.

So, we have 4-2 again, and as with last episode, Mosaic will have to choose someone to send over to Apex to even the teams. Ivana will most likely be PM
(since Kevin was last week, Kelly was two weeks ago and Ivana hasn't been in ages). Trump will ask again the PM to choose someone to send, and naturally Ivana (out of her newfound hatred of Jenn M. lol, will have no problems sending her off to Apex, this also relates to the "friendship fizzle" in the episode preview)

So we'll have 3-3 now, now as for PM for Apex, the PM will already have been selected before Jenn M. switches over, so it's between Andy and Sandy, and I got a hunch it shall be Andy, since it's been longer since last time for him, and cause he's been itching for another chance to prove himself.

As for the task, I think Mosaic loses and that means Andy/Sandy/Jenn M. go to the boardroom, and poor Andy is dismissed because Trump doesn't feel he has contributed anything and has been walking a fine line for ages. (I just can't see Trump hiring someone that young to work for him, not gonna happen)

I don't think Ivana would keep Jenn around if she's PM. Trump thinks highly of Jenn and it will be hard to get her fired. I think she's still pissed at her for taking credit for the wheel idea and she also made the comment about her getting blonder and blonder each week (and Carolyn was right there too).

Just finished watching this weeks episode and I gots plenty to say.

first of all, this was one of the better episodes I've seen in a while. The reward wasn't great, but that's expected now. $10,000 worth of diamond jewelry to meeting billy joel. Well done....

I am extremely pissed that Jen f*CKIN stole credit for Ivanna's idea. That was just plain cold. If I were Ivanna, I'd botch her out something fierce and make sure that I had the support of my team members. As long as my team members know, and that Carolyn and Bill know who was responsible for what, then it's all good. f*ck those levi execs and f*ck Donald if he doesn't put the pieces together.

I thought the firings were warranted. Wasn't even close to why they lost. I thought Maria would stay because she has those crazy eyebrows going a mile a minute. I figured Donald might get a hard on for people with odd nervous ticks, since Bill won last year. (he always had that lip biting thing...Want something to think about when you're feeling down? Well bear in mind, that all the episodes have already been filmed in advance during this past year, (except Trump's final episode with his choice) so it's likely some people do know the final two (not the winner cause thats aired live), just because they happen to be there.

For example, currently they are already shooting the episodes for the Apprentice 3 in NY, as noted by passersbys who have happenned to see the filming crew. I think they recently shot an episode for next year involving running an American Eagle outlet, according to some employees there.

Anyways, as for the predicted final two, I think very plausible since through the editing, they have been shown to be by far the best candidates.

Yeah Jen outsmarted Ivana by stepping to the plate when it counted. Jen didn't do anything on the Levi's project but at the presentation she stepped up and pulled out her smarts. I don't think she stole Ivana's idea she just stole the spotlight. She was the example of Andy's boardroom remarks where he said something like what he learned from the debates is knowing the right time to talk and listening is more important than the talking. something like that.

Hahaha.. Are you sure? I had a ThinkPad 600.. that thing was like 200mhz. The machines they showed on Apprentice seemed to look like Tablets Computers to me. I doubt they would use 600 series machines... thing takes 15 mins to boot up.

I used to work with Thinkpads all day so yeah I'm sure! It was only that one machine Jen was using. That thing caught my eye while I was watching the show and I was like wow!! You can tell by where the LCD tabs are located and the mouse button is pretty distinct.

Actually the 600 series went up to Pentium III 600 or so. They had 600, 600E, and 600X as the fastest. All use the same external parts (eg. top cover, keyboard, keyboard bezel, etc.)

You'd figure they could at least have used T series? I mean, even a low end T20 or something would have been better than a 600 series! At least the parts would have been cheaper to replace if they get destroyed by the cast members out of frustration :cheesygri

Jen THE ***** again escaped firing today. I thought Carolyn's apt conclusion about Jen was enough for Trump to fire her. But Andy made so many mistakes that they couldnt be neglected. And now since she blurted out in the boardroom that Andy approached her earlier, nobody is going to take her side and trust her. She is sure to get fired some time soon.
Kelly did well for their team. I dont know who designed the bottle but Kelly deserves credit for the hole in the bottle. I dont think putting something in the hole is a good idea though.
Ivana, I feel didnt do much in this episode. This is the thing I hate about Ivana. One episode she does well and from then on she thinks she needs to glide by ? Not a good idea. And since Jen told Trump that Ivana asked Andy to put the blame on Jen, Ivana is pretty much screwed up in the boardroom if she finds herself there next week.

That wasn't debating. That was bickering and screaming. If Trump knew anything about debating we would have known this. I'm surprised Andy didn't mention this, but then I sort of lost all respect for Andy when he slammed Kelly. It was poetic justice for Andy to get beaten so soundly by a better business man. I also have to question his idea of handing out money as a motivational ploy simply because it was so obvious that these are tactics used by car salesman, telemarketers and electronic stores. Episode 13 - M&M Candy - Ivana is PM & Jennifer is PM and they square off trying to sell candy on the street, but Ivana tries to sell herself instead. Ivana drops her skirt for a $20 dollar bill. The customer drops to the ground and has an epilectic seizure. Ivana is forced to return the money. By the end of the day, Ivana's asking price unfortunately doesn't get her anymore money than the net value of a regular bag of M&M's. So Ivana's team loses and Trump gets to utter the words he's been dieing to say, "Ivana you're fired!"

Episode 14 - Interview with Trump Execs - Sandy/Kevin/Jenn M/Kelly Remain.
Jenn M. excels cause of her good presentation skills and warm personality, Kelly does very well as well, because of his presentation, since he is older. Kevin sweats all over the place, and they have to call in the Knicks b-ball court wipers to come down and wipe down the office. One of them slips as they enter. Trump gets sued. Kevin is fired. Sa...Sa...Saaaa..ndy, cant handle public speaking (as we saw in the last episode) and stutters her way through. As a last ditch attempt, she tries to throw herself at Trump, and he turns her down (okay that might be a stretch lol......Trump doesn't turn anyone down.). She is fired as well.

Episode 15 - Finale - Kelly & Jenn M. lead their team of past fired employees in a task about hosting a NBA celebrity event. Kelly excels, and Jenn M. falters as Ivana is on her team and sabatoges her repeatedly. Ivana happens to find a mirror in their suite and asks "who is the fairest of them all?" Mirror replies " Why Jenn M. of course" Ivana storms off quacking like the toilet bowl duck. Chaos ensues. Kelly Wins. The End.

Anyways, Felix, as for the episode you mentioned, if I was the competing Project Manager against Jenn M. and the rules were you had to select from the previous 6 fired apprentices, I would know that Jenn & Ivana have same friction(understatement of the year) between them, so I would not select Ivana at all, and then it really wouldn't be Jenn's choice now would it? Ivana would be the last choice left, and Jenn would get stuck with her :lol:
Now this happens very easily, as long as Jenn M. doesn't pick first, then Barbie would have to deal with Ivana in this scenario.

I believe Ivana will be going home this week,(highlight to read if you want to know) since she is Project Manager and will be dropping her skirt for a $20 on the street to sell M&M Candy to try and beat Jenn as opposing PM. In my opinion, Ivana sees Jenn as the pretty blonde girl who got all the attention in high school, that Ivana hated since she believed she was so much smarter and deserved the boys attention. So when Jenn dresses up, and flirts with the men on the street, Ivana's jealousy gets the best of her and she gets irate and goes way overboard lol.

The Apprentice has been okay this season, but it hasn't been consistently good. The show's peaked a few times with a couple of highlight moments, namely Bradford's surprise firing:

Trump: "Bradford, You're fired!"
Trump: "That's as good as it gets."
George: "Without a doubt!"

And the double firing of Wes and Maria was another TSN turning point. The show has been mired or improved (depending on your point of view) by the cattiness of the women, and the inability of various candidates to work well together have tarnished tasks. The rewards have been mostly lame. The boardrooms have been pretty good, especially when they were doing the extended BR shows.

Saw the recap today. It actually showed some never before seen footage that's not on the website (like Stacie wanting to take home a Mattel sign). Along with Trump's reason for firing each candidate (or so he says) and previews of the coming episodes. They showed quick shots of them working with M&M candies, a street basketball game, and a polo game (the one on horses).

Yeah, I watched the recap show too. It was about what I had expected, nothing too far removed from what I've already seen. Trump's insights into the firings were fairly candid...he made no bones about who he liked/hated. An interesting moment was when Wes discovered the plans in the photocopy machine for Ivana's spinning wheel catalogue during the Levi's project. Wes's team had everything they needed to know about the other team's plans, and they still couldn't do anything with it. Pretty lame.

Nah ! contrary to that I think Carolyn felt some competition if Ivana got hired as the apprentice. I think its time that Trump realised that challeges like these or the Bridal/Fashion challenges are hugely unfair and should probably get rid of them. I think someone should ask Trump the question that who would sell more candy ? Trump or his gf ? And maybe then he'd realise it.

Some of my thoughts on this week's episode:


Ivana really has some hard luck, doesn't she? She is a brilliant team player, but sucks as project manager. The last couple of tasks (Levi's and Pepsi), I think Ivana would have performed really well as PM because these two challenges required conceptual designing and creativity. If I recall, Ivana wanted to be PM last week, but they gave it to Kelly. This week, she picked the wrong task to lead. Selling is not Ivana's strong suit which she demonstrated with the selling of ice cream. Creative design and organization are Ivana's strengths.

This was a weird task. I was under the impression that the teams had to actually design, promote, and sell a new candybar. I thought, "Great, Ivana should do well as PM!" Instead, they just had to make candybars and sell them...kind of lame. Ivana stepped up and tried to make a big play. It probably wasn't a smart idea to take off her skirt, but I can definitely appreciate her desire to win.

Kevin: Probably should have been more of a team player on this task. Undercutting the price on his own without PM approval was stupid. If I did that in my business, my manager would can my ass. Kevin did get me thinking about how to sell the candybar when he mentioned Willy Wonka. An innovative way to sell the chocolate would have been to package one of the candybars with a golden ticket to win $100. This way, it's equivalent to buying a raffle ticket with $100 as the prize, justifying selling the bars for $5.00.

What's up with Carolyn? She must have taken some biatch pills before the boardroom because she was rolling her eyes, shaking her head, looking disgusted, and passing judgement at everythig Ivana said. Like she never compromised a few of her lofty ideals to sit in that chair next to Trump? "I would stop addressing [George] by 'LOOK!'"

Lame reward. Getting a tour of the Trump International Hotel and Tower with Bill Rancic...big deal. Seems like just an opportunity for Trump to showoff his new building.

I never liked Ivanna, she takes things way to personally. Attacking Jen in the boardroom when she isn't there is not the smartest thing to do. I still don't know why she didn't try to explain her losses and blame them on situations rather than character flaws. And I still can't understand if the stripping was because she is jealous of the blond chicks assets which are not in the asian genes or if it was a last desperate attempt for some cash. Either way it was unprofessional and it just takes back years of trying to get more women respected in the workforce.

well, so far, I don't see too many problems. They both have situations beyond their control. It all depends on how they're able to cope and do some dmage control. A contingency plan would've been good, but that's easy to say in hindsight. I believe that the "person" with a girl's name, will still win.

But seriously, at the beginning of the episode I was like "Sandy will do crap!" and then during the boardroom I was like "Woah, Sandy did pretty well"

I honestly can't believe he picked Jen over Sandy. All Jen does is yell a lot and not let other people talk. The reason the boardroom turns into a shouting match is always because of Jen.

Trump is an idiot, he can't even see this. He even dismisses what his advisors have told him about Jen in the past. Quite frankly I hope Jen wins so she can screw Trump over as the head of one of his businesses.

As for so-called insurmountable problems facing the two contestants, how much do you want to bet it will be exactly like last year where it rained for Bill's golf tourney (plus he lost the sign) and Kwame lost Jessica Simpson? The problems will be resolved within the first 10 minutes of the next episode.

The problems are the contestant's own faults anyways. Jen should have talked to Chris Webber herself. She's stupid for delegating that task. If he has to, Kelly should be prepared to get out in the rain, put a tarp up over where the logo should go and get down on his hands and knees with a towel t wipe that grass dry.

Trump then gives the tough entertainment gig in the city that's centered around a celebrity to the other contestant. They have to deal with stars on a schedule, crowds, and throngs of people and the problems of an urban environment.

I for one think Trump is a loser. He pretends to be wealthy and influential but I wouldn't want to do business with him. I mean, why was he expecting attention from Jen or Kelly?? Yes he is the boss, but his employees have work to do. I wouldn't make my employees have to pay constant attention to me.

I heard from Trump on Larry King Live that if Troy wants to go back to school, Trump would pay for his tuititon...and Troy accepted Trump's offer to go to Harvard....The reason y Troy didn't go to higher education was cuz he had no money, he had to take care of his mom and family and thus didn't goto college....

My take on the finale:


The show started off with a 15 minute recap, honestly it dragged too much as we have already seen the recap couple weeks ago. A 3-5 short summary of the 15 weeks would have been more appropriate. It just looked like a ploy to make the finale into 3 hrs by all means.
Jen M. made some huge mistakes like not seeing off Trump and not remaining in the limelight (like Pamela). Stacy R defended Jen M quite well on this point but it looked like Trump didnt buy it.
Kelly's mistake were not small either, did you see the box he arranged for Trump ? lol. Also the house where they were working at was a complete mess.
Again I think it would have been better if the challenges were switched; Jen M for the Polo event and Kelly for the Basketball event. We'd have then seen how Kelly would perform under pressure.
I thought the idea of taking opinions from the others was a VERY BAD MOVE. It totally showed the general response and it totally killed whatever little suspense was left about Trump's decision.
lol @ the poor guy who blanked out on screen multiple times. He couldnt justify why he hated Jen M. and liked Kelly. It came off as it was something personal. lol
Andy had some witty answers to Trump's questions. Nice.
Jen C was irritating whatever little time she got to speak. She even took the compliments from Trump which were meant for Jen M. lol
Raj got excited when he was asked about his "date" with Robin.
Troy looked refined; spoke fluently without much of his accentic ticks. Hope he does well.
After all the opinions were taken & the contestants were called back into the boardroom LIVE, Jen M came back VERY STRONGLY. What a recovery especially after the pounding she recieved. Kelly could hardly match that response. At that point I thought that Trump would pick Jen M because that would be a surprise decision and also because Jen M came back strongly.
Apprentice 3 didnt look too good as it is based on the stereotypes. Lets see how it turns out on Jan 20, 2005.

I really felt sorry for Jennifer since all the people in the audience that Regis interviewed rooted for Kelly. What was wrong with that Trump employee with the mustache who choked when Regis talked to him? He first said, "you know how I dislike Jenn." Then he was silent and I thought he was crying or something and then said, "I would pick Kelly." At this point, it was a no-brainer that Kelly would be the next Apprentice.

I think the camera man was confused when either Jennifer was talked about. The first time it happened, Donald was talking to Jenn C and then gave her a compliment at the end. Then you suddenly hear Jenn M's voice and they pan to Jenn C and the look on her face is like "WTF." The second time, Omarosa gave Jennifer a compliment (I'm not sure which one) and the camera first pans to Jenn C and then to Jenn M.

From the 3rd season preview it looks like they have more minorities now. They have four token black people but no token Asian.

Hope season 3 is not simply a 'coronation' as Kelly's was - it is good to have some suspense throughout the season..

yeah I was pretty confused as to which Jen they were talking to half the time...eww and what was Omarosa wearing? If you notice, these American tv shows never have many "brown" people on them for some reason. They have blacks, asians, but rarely other visible minorities.

I'm glad she didn't win. I've come across so many people like her in my years. Those who are very poor perfomers but great self-promoters. Always looking out for number 1! Only. Each time Jen was in the boardroom she was obviously very well rehearsed and prepared - almost like closing arguements in a court case. No I don't know if she is/was a trial lawyer but man was she ready to go each and every time. I wonder if the D' man is privy to any of the footage of the challenges. I suspect not. Kelly was rock solid throught the whole competition. And I think it was said many, many times - he can lead and he can be led. I like the premiss of season 3. It is too bad how often "book learnin" is over-valued and common sense and street smarts are overlooked. I work in the IT world and it kills me how often a peice of paper from the cerification of the month is touted on resumes of people with experince measured in hours. I'm not about to start a debate, I just think education and experince are equally valuable - which is exactly what Kelly had.
