How to record phone conversations and other things

I am looking to record some phone conversations (and this is legal) and am looking for ways to do this. I have a Olympus Pearlcorder S912 kicking around that does not work too well so I am looking at suggestions. I would like to have a device that I can use to record other things as well going forward if needed.

So RFDer's, what do you guys suggest?

Use a telephone to audio interface.
Dealextreme has one, or build your own.

Then use the input of your sound card and recording software.
I like RecallPro, but there are others.

I thought moderators aren't allowed to ask questions?

How would a rule like that even make any sense? Unless they were allowed to have different personal accounts and moderator accounts.
