SSD - Terribly Slow Write Speed (60GB Vertex 2 34nm)

My SSD has always felt quite fast but a bit slower since I installed my new graphics card and moved the SATA connector to a different port. For some reason it went back to IDE mode. I changed that back to ACHI and now it feels fast again but after benching it (using as ssd), it seems that my write speeds are very slow. Note that this is the second time I benched it. The first time I just tested it in the context of doing a couple of tweaks here and there but it was so fast compared to my WD Black I thought everything was up to par:

Write
Seq - 51.73MB/s
4K - 31.78MB/s
4K-64Thrd - 61.30MB/s
Acc.Time 0.290ms

Read
Seq - 200.60MB/s
4K - 16.22MB/s
4K-64Thrd - 101.43MB/s
Acc. time 0.207ms

Anybody know how I can get the write speeds up? System is in sig. below. I installed the latest ACHI driver from Asus, just turned off Windows write cache flushing after running bench and enabled write caching (was always enabled). I'm quite pleased with the overall speed and will run another bench in a week or two to see if I fixed it since I already ran 2 today.

What utility are you using to benchmark your SSD.

I'll run it on my 160GB Vertex2 and let you know.

Supost to run the crystalsys bench in 1's or 0's & in 4k segments.

I know peaple run that 1 you mention but if I remember correctly it doesn't show the speeds properly. I know i had the same thing occure when I 1st got mine.

Tried AS SSD - what a downer! According to it 5,400rpm HD were faster then my SSD!!! Definitely there is an issue with the utility.

Ran ATTO Bench32 - numbers jumped back over 200MB/s RW. (Max. 225MB/s)

Ah ok. Seems very quick to me and since I didn't get the 25nm, i wasn't too concerned lol.

Thanks for the replies.
