Has anyone tried using the Safeway, Sobeys or Pharmsave stores visa gift card for a hulu plus subscription?

But even with a US netflix account, you still need to hide your ip. And none of the free one's work apparently. So plan on spending another $8/month on that.

No you don't. I use USVideo.ca to access both Hulu and Netflix.com. Those sites only check the IP of who's making the DNS request, after that they don't care.

I personally got a virtual credit card at entropay. It adds 5% to your purchase, meaning the $7.99 Hulu fee will have an extra $0.40 added onto it. You can find all the info on my site:

I am interested in setting up a Hulu Plus account (using VPN or DNS).

My understanding is the big road block here, is that Hulu Plus requires a subscrition and an American Credit Card. Just wondering if anyone has done this recently and if it works. I've heard different accounts of Entropay (some say it works, others do not) I've heard that signing up for the Paypal Mastercard and using that might work and I've also heard of maybe using a prepaid Visa from the states.

Any recent experience or help would be greatly appreciated. PM if needed.

I just tried to sign up for Hulu Plus with an Entropay card and it was rejected. I know that there is not a problem with the card because I was able to sign up for Netflix.com successfully a few minutes later. Back to the drawing board for Hulu.
