Hi everybody,

please tell me what is your favorite book at the moment? Some good tips and recommendations for the summer reading. Do you hear about this title "Weird Ontario Laws"? You can check the review of this title: http://ellidavis.com/toronto-real-estate-news/toronto-book-reviews/2011/06/weird-ontario-laws-book-review

Currently reading Simon Singh's Trick or Treatment, Alternative medicine on trial. He is one of the finest science writers of our time, and the book is very fair in it's assessment, mandatory reading IMHO if you have ever entertained acupuncture, chiropractors, blood letting etc. Like all Singh's books it is filled out with a multitude of fascinating anecdotes of history.

Planning to read Robert McCammon's Boys Life next, Swan Song was absolutely brilliant and this is supposed to be his finest work.

Like everyone else apparently, also looking forward to Martin's Dance of Dragons which should be out in a few weeks.

Current fav of mine is "Heart-Shaped Box" by Joe Hill. Great writing with some genuine scary imagery. I guess you should expect that from Stephen King's son. If not i would recommend "Golf Monster" by Alice Cooper (great autobiography about his career, addiction, and love of golf) or Denis Leary "Why We Suck" biography book (again great family stories, conversations with his mom about "everyone getting the cancer")

A Thousand Splendid Suns

Such a great book! One of my favourites. Another of my all time faves would be Shantaram.

I just finished Water for Elephants and it was pretty good. I'm going to read The Help next.

My favourite is Icewind Trilogy, and also the other of this series from R.A.Salvatore. At the moment I'm reading "Conan the Barbarian" from Robert E. Howard. It's a fantasy novel, which has been adapted into movie (acted by Arnold Schwerzenegger) and the MMORPG Age of Conan.
