I wanted to a share a US site that I used to save quite a bit of money on a nice wagon for my 2 year old son:

http://www.gardencartsonline.com/page/425437760

I bought a Millside wagon (http://millside.ca/canadian-made-kids-wagons.php) and saved quite a bit of money compared to going to a local Toys R Us:

- cheaper list price
- no tax since you are buying from a US retailer
- no border crossing since they ship from Canada (no duties, no brokerage)
- benefit from the stronger Canadian dollar
- fast shipping because they ship from the Waterloo Region (2 days in my case)

For example, going to Toys R Us would cost you CAD $316 after tax for this wagon: http://www.toysrus.ca/product/index.jsp?productId=4348368
Whereas, you can find a similar model (different colors) that will come to CAD $193 grand total: http://www.gardencartsonline.com/product/MIL%20H-103

The owner is very responsive to emails and in fact added a new model to their website on my request after noticing it on the manufacturer website.

The wagon itself is very robust and is well-built. I recommend the canopy for hot days.

saw a red wooden wagon at zellers today for i think $120, and metal wagon for seventy something dollars.
i have a radio flyer metal wagon, had it for about 5 years, and love it. very sturdy and it's seen a lot of duty.

The trouble with almost any wooden wagon i've seen at somewhere like Zellers/HomeHardware/etc is that it has plastic hardware for the steering or for connecting the axles to the wagon. Not that metal is always better but the particular plastic ones i've seen were very cheap.

This US site looks promising.
