Stargate Relicators vs Star Trek Borg [Archive]

So ... watching "Stargate SG1" Season 2, episode 22 where they are introduced to the replicators ... and that started me thinking... they act a LOT like the Borg of Star Trek... but, who's stronger/better?

I've never watched Stargate, nor Babylon 5. My nerdiness is weak.

Is SG any good? All i remember is watching the Kurt Russell movie back in the 90's.

But only if the borg haven't assimilated bullets. Or tennis balls. :razz:

The Borg KNOW OF projectile weapons - several species, including Humans - have used them on the Borg, and have had their knowledge assimilated... thus, the Borg know, but as witnessed in First Contact, have not quite figured a way to defend against them. It seems their shields - like the Gao'uld - do not stop slow moving objects.

Borg would win for sure, everything that the replicators can do the borg can do and are also capable of advanced thought to do things like time travel. If the replicators could do it they would have.

The replicators evolved to the point of advanced thought very quickly. Borg took eons by comparison.
