excercise in the morning because its suppose to work twice as well than doing it during the day

Best time depends on your goals.

But in the final analysis, I wouldn't obsess about what time is best - just do it. Any exercise at any time of any day is always better than none.

defintely not in the evening before you sleep
i guess a lot of people would say mornings...but i'm not really a morning person!! hahahh

I go every morning before school. Bike to school, work out, go to class and come home. I like this schedule. It works for me. Plus, at 6:30 in the morning, the roads aren't busy, and neither is the gym. But I hate this kind of weather, where in the morning it's still cold, so I have to wear more clothes, and carry them home on my bike.
I agree tho, whatever works for you. I like morning.

I don't think there is a best time, just find something that works for you. Some people find they have better workouts in the mornings, others at night...trial and error

Actually the reason its best to exercise in the morning is this. If your looking to lose weight or to get into shape then you should try to increase your metabolism. The way to do this is to eat more often. So instead of 3 meals a day eat 5-6 times a day every 3 hours or so. People say to exercise in the morning when you first get up because then you increase your heart rate and burn more calories. So you wake up then exercise then eat breakfast. Your body will burn those calories faster.

True if your goal is to lose weight, but doesn't hold up if you're trying to gain muscle.
