Why would one write 5 different wills?

I recommend simply picking up a will kit from futureshop or staples for ~$20. Legal, lots of documentation/instruction, no expiry (well, until the law changes at least!), and as many wills as you want to make.

I would recommend not buying any kind of quick, diy type will kits... There are legalities that you may not understand that could result in
a) more taxes paid than otherwise with a lawyer, and/or
b) certain assets not going to the people you want (or in the proportion you want).
The main reason to write a will is to ensure your assets go where you want with minimal taxes paid. You could end up costing your beneficiaries a lot of money...

Cheers,
