Not sure what's going on H Cleaning but I tried booking with Groupon voucher, said they're no longer doing business with Groupon (no reason given) & told me to request refund.
Now I see they have a Kiijji offer up for Mtl. Just a heads up.

I too purchased cleaning services with H Cleaning Services through Groupon.
It was obvious from the start (June) that they were feeling overwhelmed with the response they had gotten (very poor customer service and response times).
However, after a lot of back and forth they booked me an appointment for Mid-August. They required me to send in a cheque for taxes in advance, which I was told were not charged through Groupon. I sent in a cheque for $7.15, which was cashed in July.
August arrived, and my husband took a day off work to be home for H Cleaning Services to be at the house. They don't provide the cleaning supplies (other than the soaps) so I went out and bought a new mop-head, rags, etc.
Without so much as a phone call or email, they never showed up!
When I contacted them, they told me without apology, "contact groupon for a refund."
While Groupon did refund the principal, Helen (H Cleaning Services) has not responded to my email regarding the $7.15 which she still owes me. It is a small amount, but I don't appreciate being stolen from, especially after being jerked around for a month beforehand.

it may seem like a small amount but if she sold and scheduled 200 houses to clean thats $1430 for her >:(

Wow. What SCAMMERS. Personally I would have never sent them that money in advance (no real company would be worried about getting stiffer $7 at the door) but I hope you keep on them for it, even if it is a small amount, if just for the principal!

Just a quick update. H Cleaning Services has not responded to any of my emails regarding this issue (theft of $7.15) and their listed phone numbers will not get you through to a person or a working voice mail. I have submitted a complaint with the Better Business Bureau of Quebec, but am doubtful that anything will come of it.
Anyone who has had a similar issue can submit a complaint through BBB-BEC (Better Business Bureau Quebec) at http://www.occq-qcco.com/main.cfm?p=230&l=en
Because H Cleaning Services has moved recently and they do not list their address on their website, I used the address to which I issued my cheque:
202-1341
BOUL NOBERT
LONGUEUIL,QUEBEC
J4K5A9
Hopefully no one else has had the terrible experience I have had with this company. What a scam!

Did Groupon ever offer help with the $7.15?
In this case they are an accessory to theft, and I would make sure they're aware of that.

I wish I had read your post sooner! No one should hire them. I bought their voucher off of Dealfind and it was a terrible experience. They were so busy with all the deal sites that they couldn't give me an appointment for 2 months. When the day finally arrived, they showed up 45 minutes late with 2 people, instead of 3, as promised. They began refusing to do certain jobs, such as cleaning the stairwell (which is one flight to an upper duplex). After they cleaned for 45 minutes, which was less than half the time I paid for, she said my house wasn't clean enough to clean! So, unless you own a spotless modern condo that just needs some dusting and vaccuming, don't hire them, because that's all they are willing to do.
They claim they only do "regular cleaning" and not "deep cleaning" (like their ad says by the way), but they didn't even windex my glass living room tables or wipe my kitchen counters, and I'm pretty sure that qualifies as "regular cleaning". Also, she refused to even entertain the notion of giving me half my money back. She said to take it up with Dealfind. Helen was snobby and wants to do as little as possible for the money you pay her. She was unprofessional and down right rude. I live in my home with two children, including my 11 month old son, and I was hurt and insulted by the way I was treated. She doesn't deserve to be in business if she treats people this way. So please warn your deal-seeking friends not to hire H Cleaning Services.
