Best place to get cheap scalper tickets?

I am desperately trying to get my hands on tickets to the 30th anniversary Metallica shows at the Fillmore in San Francisco.

So far I saw them on sale for $2000. Face value was $19.81

There is a reason they call it scalping... not selling for zero profit.

Face value means nothing. The Fillmore holds like 1200 people (I googled it) and Metallica has a lot of fans. Hard core Metallica fans will pay a lot of money to see them in such a small venue for their 30th anniversary.

If you aren't willing to pay a lot of money, I would give up on that.

If it were me.. I'd just hammer the ticketbastard side all the time. There's not a show I can think of, where at some random moment additional tickets were released. Especially within the last week, or few days before the show.

the problem being it makes booking flights risky.

1200 seater, you'd have to look all the time though.. even if a handful of tickets freed up, they'd probably go quick.
