Only 700 watts as well.
I think the only perk is the stainless steel parts.

Saw a $60 + tax Kenmore at Sears where I have 20% off giftcards. Was looking at a microwave for my work to replace the dying one. Not sure what brands are good for microwaves.

IMO as an Electrolux fan, Frigidaire is the highest quality (craftsmanship) and Kenmore is in the bottom. They're both made by Electrolux! :)
