Perhaps a way to prevent this is to implement better tagging functionality. The current tagging system exists but there is room for improvement. I know during Boxing Day, they have a great feature that lets users search for items based on tagged words (i.e. blu ray, USB, 8GB, etc.). This way the user could see a search for all items that are meaningful to them instead of spending time and going thru pages of deals which are of no interest to them.
If we can have this on all posts, it would make the deal experience much more enjoyable IMO.
