Looking for good name tags to purchase for my 2 girls.
Need them for clothing, shoes, bags and lunchboxes.
checked out this site, https://www.stuckonyou.biz/canada/index1.asp?RegionID=9.
Does anyone have any suggestions where else we can get them.
Any input would be greatly appreciated.
Thankss

My wife uses Mabels Labels to order the name tags you are talking about. She has ordered from them for both her nephews and our son, and has always had good experiences with them.

tried the sharpie and tape thing for years.
not cutting it. they fade and wash and leak onto other clothes.
tape leaves and spreads an irritating residue that leaves a rash on my kids skin.
need something washer safe and is permanent.
also sharpie is not good on certain plastics at all like lunch boxes and certain water bottles and containers.
it just smudges off when in contact with anything. or fades after a wash. it's also not skin safe.
and the direction with a lot of kids stuff today is leaning to the reusable, plastic and less waste direction which is what i support.

Bought custom labels from eBay, 72 for $4. They're a good size so I would recommend them over the packs of 120. There's lots of designs available - Winnie the Pooh, Cars (movie), etc. Arrived in under a week too.

My favourite so far has been the Staples/Oliver's labels. You can even order them with a code so the item can be returned to you. Most of all I like their sizes and design choices!

My wife bought from http://www.lovablelabels.ca/ and that was about three years ago. They have lasted and as a result, have not had to re-order any at this time. They give you quite a few that should last many years.
Just make sure you do not make the mistake that we made. Do not place your child's first name on the tag. Just their first intial and their last name or even just their initials.

y only the last name?[/QUOTE]
There are many different opinions on this. You don't want the first name as a stranger can call your child by their first name and that can give the child the appearance that they know each other. However, if you use the last name, any stranger can find out more info on you then you'd like. If you use initials, then at least you know the item is yours, but how will anyone else?
In the end, I decided most labels were either out of view of strangers (eg. clothing labels) or were for inside school use where names are ok, so I went with first name.

Exactly, but having the last name shown is not really a risk as stated above.

so after looking around carefully i have decided to buy the multipurpose label on ebay as they are dirt cheap.
and i have decided to buy the Clothing and Shoe labels from staples using the custom package creator option.
i didnt need any bag tags and all the other labels the pre made packages and other companies offered since i already have bag tags from childsave.com child registry.
and the prices on staples i find were very very good plus i liked the idea of a local pickup.

+1 on lovablelabels, they last forever - through many, many wash/dry cycles.
