Is there a RFD mega faq/guide [Archive]

I know this isn't a hot deal, but I was unsure as to which forum it would belong in; mods, please move appropriately.

Anyways, is there a guide/faq/thread which lists all the major things that every RFD'er should know about. I've been on RFD a while and am still picking up on new things that apparently are unanimously agreed on as musts.

A thread that identifies services that every rfder should be aware of. Encompassing things such as:
- cell phone - rogers retentions
- internet - teksavvy
- cashback credit cards - mbna.

I'm sure there are tons of other things I have no idea about which are pretty big money savers.

Sorta like an RFD dictatorship as to what to get? Not really AFAIK.

You missed one BIG thing. This is the wrong forum. You don't post these suggestions in Hot Deals.

Thanks op PM'd at FS and got 5x wrong forum posts!

If they wrote a FAQ it would probably have a Q with a picture of this post saying 'Should I do this?' and a big red X as the answer.

I'm trying to learn as much as possible and gain information from "the community",

for starters your "tip" is pretty vague. How did you expect that to save anyone money or expect that to contribute to the community.

What is it you are looking for?

because not everyone uses RFD for hot deals

Read the forum rules... No need really for what you are suggesting. With 100+ posts, you obviously didn't read the basics by posting this in hot deals section.
