Seems kind of effeminate but I could see it being easier to massage injuries and more aethetically pleasing.

Didn't you just answer your own question?

It's also important for cutting down resistance in competitive swimming, apparently.

Imagine the time you shave off during a bicycle race or a marathon.

That he did.

Waxing is the way to go.

Great for cleaning up post crashing on a bike. Also shows off your sexy legs.

What a random comment! I'm Asian, and my legs were like carpets (must be genetic).

Only reason I ended up shaving them was the ease of cleaning up after a crash. Bandages on hairy legs are not fun at all. The downside of doing it, is that once you start, you can't stop, and you have to do it frequently. After a day or two you (or your partner) won't like the feeling of cactus-like legs.

So I'm not the only one...

Waxing is better. Much better and longer results. Except it friggin hurts like no tomorrow. Makes cleaning up a spill (particularly MTB) a lot better.

Shaved my forearms and they feel sun burned. I think it was hottest day of year yesterday though.
