Hey guys! I'm taking ECO209 by Faig cause I couldn't get into ECO202 by K, Yu. I heard ECO209 is a lot tougher than 202 (no calculator on tests/exams?). Should I drop the course and take ECO202 in summer or next year?
Thanks! :)

I've taken ECO204 with Yu (Wong) in her first year of teaching at UTM. It wasn't a great experience. Class averages fluctuated test to test, with the last one being in the 30's I believe. Not too sure about her teaching in ECO202, but I would think it would be the same from what I heard from my peers.
I have taken ECO209 with Faig, and it was the best economics course I've taken (after ECO220), no calculators actually means that there won't be much math, and if there is, you dont need to solve for it, rather just leave it in the equation form.
It's hard to understand Faig sometimes, but the course is extremely fair.
best of luck
