Hey folks!
Thought I would let you know about a great conference being held in Toronto on Nov 10-12 at the Novotel North York and Schulich School of Business and is open to all undergraduate students of any university.
The Globe International Management Conference incorporates learning on both traditional and emerging fields in the International Business arena, with the opportunities to engage in them within Canada and abroad. Our unique approach revolves around creating meaningful interactions between business professionals and students of all backgrounds. Diversity in cultural, professional and academic backgrounds is emphasized at the Globe iMC as a means of reflecting the true nature of international commerce.
This year, the conference is presented by TD Bank Group. Our other sponsors/partners include Inroads Canada, Hershey Canada, Kraft, PepsiCo, P&G, and many more. Don’t miss out on office visits, various experiences and cultural workshops, social night events and the chance to learn from and meet many industry professionals such as Derrick Neely, Director of National Field Sales at Hershey Canada, and Ayten Archer, Managing Director of Inroads Canada. Experience a Yoga seminar with Dani Paradise, the world-renounced Yoga instructor who introduced Yoga to celebrities such as Madonna and Sting or a cultural cuisine workshop led by award-winning Arvinda’s Indian Cooking Classes.
All delegates will also get to compete in Globe IMC's annual case simulation - a competition that allows students to take on the role of a stakeholder for a major company, and work with others to solve a real-time business case simulation. The competition presentations will be judged by our representatives from our list of sponsors/partners.
If you are interested, applications are due September 30th, 2011. More info can be found on our page at www.globeimc.com.
