Please restrict - Quoting Images/Videos in Reply's

Is it just me or anybody else too getting annoyed in reading Replys where people are quoting Images/Videos. Sometimes a post contains multiple images, and the post is quoted multiple times by multiple people resulting in a pile of useless repetition in thread pages, and it just doesnt make sense at all seeing the same post over and over again.

Several sites already have restrictions in place when multi quoting images/videos and this keeps the pages neat and organized. I try to do my part and usually *snip* posts when quoting, and I think we can all benefit if others follow suit.

Edit: This is pretty annoying and rampant in threads such as you laugh you lose, photography sections, or any other sections that includes posting of videos/photographs.

i agree it's annoying, but i think the original image or video should be kept, BUT in a smaller scale, if it is possible. if the OP had a 800x800 image, quoted post should be reduced to something like 100x100. same for embedded vids, make it so that it just appears smaller when quoted or just the raw link shown.

fully agree, even in deal threads. Someone posts some off topic image then a bunch have to quote it. Id prefer effort made to even discourage the posting of the original.

A very small number of people who want to use the site just to pass the time or have someone to chat with, making an enormous number of no content posts, have been making reading the site increasingly annoying for everyone else

Off topic has always had "It is not meant to be a chat room. Users who wish to chat amongst themselves should either use the Private Messaging system or some other instant messaging software. " but much of the site is headed to being one

Ahh darn it! You guys are trying to take away all my fun when I have to edit numerous posts complaining about an image or video that each has quoted the pic or video itself. :cheesygri

And limit the size of the pic. In the "Who do you think is the hottest...." threads, the pics are massive (posted by one user usually).
