Just wanted to put this out there as it isn't too often that it happens. I bought a digital scale years ago that I used for fishing, and after just over a year, it stopped working. I contacted Rapala well past the one year warranty period, and they said to send it in anyway as the repair fee would be nominal. Well, that was over a year ago today and after traveling in and out of the country, I simply forgot. Anyway, 2 weeks ago, I sent it in with a letter explaining and waited (mind you, it is now 2-3 years since I bought the scale).

2 days ago a package arrives with a brand new scale, in its plastic packaging, with NO CHARGE to me. Now, THAT is customer service. Needless to say, I'm a customer for life :D
